Thank goodness Lindsey gives us the freedom to share our on take on What I Wore Wednesday, because to be honest… since Zack and I left for vacation, oh, 5 days ago, I’ve pretty much worn my bathing suit the entire time. And it’s been AWESOME! And we still have a handful of days before it’s over {yeow!}. So this week’s edition of WIWW is on my bathing suit :]

My striped bottoms are from Target and my ruffled green top is from Old Navy. Just recently my sis-in-law helped me re-work my top so it can also be worn as a bandeau top {see top center pic} — which is perfect for hiding tan lines. Or trying to! Hah!

Summer has always been my favorite season. I feel like it resonates happiness and love and dating and marriage and family adventures, all wonderful things. AND, all wonderful things we get to experience on our summer vacay to Michigan.

How about you? What are you feeling this summer that’s positive? What fun things are you doing, what amazing memories are you creating? What projects are you working on/not working on? Share them with me! ♥

Hey Gussy! I love summer too. Fresh fruits and veggies from the garden, fire flies, swimming at the lake, usually a couple of trips and more time with family. Although here in Arkansas it’s HOT HOT, all the time!
I’ve been working on my new blog, as you know. And new sewing projects soon! Hope your having a great vacation!

The weather in Chicago has been extremely hott so I’m guilty in saying that I haven’t been enjoying the weather outside too much. I am planning a wedding party with my hubby for mid-August though, so most of my time has been spent on decor for the party. I have been enjoying the BBQs though….lots of them!

I’m another lover of Summer, and Vacation in the summer is tha best! How fun and carefree to lounge around in your swim suit moving at a leisurely pace. I’m fortunate enough to live close to the beach, so that’s where we spend our weekends. Yay! Great WIWW, Gussy!

I’m taking a roadtrip with my husband and daughter to minnesota! We’ll be going around visiting my in-laws as well as looking for neighborhoods we want to live in. I can’t wait! i’ve needed to get away for awhile! and since my baby is almost due, its the last one i’ll have for a long time!

Love that color!!! Looks great on you! I’m very intrigued how you made that halter into a bandeau- talent, I tell ya!
I went on a little shopping day trip yesterday with my mom, aunt, and sister-in-law! May be as close to a vacation as I get this year! ;)

You’re so cute! I love your bathing suit. I am blond as well, but for some reason, green doesn’t usually look good on me. Maybe it’s because you’re tan and I’m so pale I’m practically see-through…hmm. Ha Ha. Where in Michigan did you vacation? I grew up there. The lake looks refreshing!
