this giveaway is now closed.

Hey craft lovers — I’d like to introduce you to The Plaid Barn, a daily deals site featuring craft supplies, DIY kits and more! Here’s how their site works: each weekday at 8am EST they offer an awesome craft item and at amazing price. Each deal has a limited supply, so be sure to sign up for for daily emails to be the first to know about the great deals! {See previous deals on the “past deals” link on the website.} They also have some fabulous raw craft supplies, jewelry kits, scrapbook kits and more lined up for future deals… make sure you’re on their mailing list so you don’t miss out!!!

Something I really love: the finished sets/supplies sold within each daily deal are offered in smaller quantities, which makes them perfect for trying out new crafts + projects. Because you aren’t purchasing an insanely large bundle you can expand your project list without spending a fortune! So much fun! :]

GIVEAWAY // The Plaid Barn is offering a super fun prize pack, including 50 colorful buttons, 4 yards of fold-over elastic, 27 round kraft wafer stickers, 15 old school library cards, 25 parcel tags in 5 brilliant colors, 8 yards of faux suede cording + a 10 piece cute cabochon mix. All packaged neatly in a hand stamped muslin bag.

TO ENTER // leave a comment sharing what you’d make from the above prize pack! For additional entries (optional) connect with The Plaid Barn online by following along via twitter or subscribe to their newsletter. Be sure to connect with Gussy by subscribing via RSS feed. Leave an extra comment for every additional entry {4 total}.

This crafty giveaway is open to the US only! a winner will be picked + announced in a few days.

♥ HAVE FUN + gooooood luck! xo

What a great collection of goodies! I would definitely use the tags and library cards for my Project Life scrapbooking project. The buttons and cabochons might get put to use for unique jewelry items. (I just saw a blog post yesterday about making RINGS with buttons!) My daughter would certainly come up with ideas to use any of the things that I can’t use. Thanks for the chance to win!

I would definitely make a frame with my 5 year old out of the buttons. She would have a ball. Then I would have to do some online research for the rest! I love to let my daughter help with crafts that are fun for her but can be used around the house.

Awesome giveaway!
I am currently in the middle of crocheting my daughter bunting for her room and I was going to make her name out of buttons so that would be awesome!

Also the elastic and cabochon would come in real handy for headbands I’m planning to make. And I think the tags would give me the push to sort through all my yarn that really need labeling! =)

I know I’d have a ton of uses for the buttons – lately I’ve been using buttons to decorate picture frames and I’d like to use the suede cord to make bracelets or use it as trim to add new life to something. I love crafting with my daughters – a great opportunity to bond and be creative and be free from distractions (iPods, phones, computers, TV).

My son is over my shoulder saying, I wana do an art project with that. Haha! I homeschool him, so I’m always looking for fun art projects. And I love planning parties, so I would incorporate some of these things like the tags and Kraft labels. Id Use the buttons and rest of the supplies for a fun art project with my son!
Thanks!

this kit is so cute! & diverse! it makes me wish my long school-related to-do list would disappear so i could craft something (story of my life). the faux suede excites me the most – i can see some gorgeous bracelets to add to my collection with those, maybe a few with dainty charms. the big buttons would be used for my crochet projects (ear warmers & boot cuffs). the tags and stickers would be stamped on & kept for special gifts, while the elastic would be used for DIY ruffle skirts! the little flowers would be for a rainy day project that needed some bling and those old-school library cards would stump me! maybe used in a scrapbook page or matte for a picture.. of a pretty library, perhaps? ahhh so many ideas!!

love your blog. found you through It’s The Small Things Blog!
