It’s time to link up with Lindsey for wiww!
Today I’m wearing Gap jeans, tank & tee from Target, and flip flops from Old Navy. Whoaaa, I changed my stores up this week ~ I feel like a big girl with #3 listed! Hah. It was seriously amazing to be outside this weekend. Our little family loved the sunshine, breeze, coffee-drinking and ball-catching time [that would be Bauer, if you weren’t sure].
Someone recently asked me why I only do 1-2 days of outfits each week, and there are many answers: I don’t have a huge wardrobe and I definitely wear a couple of the same things every week [so I don’t want to bore you]; it has rained a lot lately and been very dark out all day ~ no good for photo shoots!; and lastly because mornings are best for natural lighting, but I’m not always home during that time or able to take some pictures. I know, I live a complicated life *wink*.
I would seriously love to expand my outfits and be able to have more time for photo shoots. It has been fun and a good challenge, too — so, something to work on :]
PS. remember this is coming soon…
OK — today’s question: what is your favorite season and why?
Favorite season: Fall
Reason: Because it’s not too cold or too hot. The weather is perfect.
Spring. I love the rainy weather. I love the smells and sounds of it. Plus, once it’s taken a break from the rain, everything perks up and blooms in all the wonderful colors. I love spring for the sounds, sights, & smells!!
Fall, definitely, I love the changing colors of the leaves and the cool winds that sweep in….lovely!
My favorite season (in Minnesota) is summer! People are friendly, excited to be outside, and overall in terrific moods. :) In Texas (where I grew up) My favorite it fall. Why? Because football!
Cute outfit!! For me it is a tie between fall and spring. Love the beautiful weather. :)
You cute little thing~
Happy Day to you and Bauer!
LOVE LOVE LOVE …1000 times LOVE my new GUSSY purse!!!!!!
I can never pick a favorite! I’m such an indecisive person…summer is so good for blueberries and beach time, and fall…who doesn’t love pumpkin spice lattes and pretty leaves? I live in the deep south, so winter is always a welcomed break from the overbearing heat, then spring – ah butterflies and new flowers make my heart flutter.
I LOVE the fall! Especially since moving from California to Minnesota. I think this change of season is absolutely spectacular. I love to colors, the nip in the air, the activities (like apple picking and leaf peeping). I love the promise of cozy warm fires in the safety of home. I just LOVE fall!
super cute! as usual!
fall! i love the colors, the cool crisp air, and the smells! but this year i did find myself longing for spring… very glad it’s finally here!
There is something I like about all of the seasons, but fall is probably my favorite. I love all of the colors, wearing cute sweaters, and drinking hot chocolate. Unfortunately, I don’t get to experience that living on Guam. The only seasons I get to experience here are wet and dry.
Fav season is probably summer because it’s warm and you have lots more time to do things like swim, craft, etc.
i too have to vote for fall. i love the crisp air, the musty smell, and the sound of dead leaves rustling on the trees. i actualy have a word for the the act of walking through a pile of dead leaves, “trunching.” its a combination of trudging and crunching…describes it perfectly, even if i do say so myself.
Oh my gosh, I love your blog! I just found it on the Pleated Poppy and I am so glad I did! Now following!
Hope you’ll follow back!
Ask the Duplex
you are just the cutest thing ever! I too, have only been doing one outfit, after doing the 30 for 30 remix challenge and taking pictures EVERYDAY for 30 days of outfits…well, one outfit is all I can muster right now! LOL
I love everything you wear and of course your hair, ROCKS!
I LOVE the fall… I enjoy bringing out the sweaters and scarves, drinking my favorite iced chai latte, and baking up some yummy sweet treats! Plus, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! :)
omw, iced chai latte? yummms! thanks for sharing!! xoxo
So, first off, I feel so cool now because I just bought that same shirt from Target!
Second, I love fall! Changing leaves and vibrant colors are just gifts from heaven!
i love summer! the hot, sticky, muggy sunny weather. Yes, I like that and we don’t have AC at home. After a very LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOng winter (I live in Quebec, Canada) with complicated gear to put on (coats, hat, scarf, boots, mitts, shovelling…)all that for even just short trips there is nothing I crave more than just being able to slip on a dress and some flip flops and off I go! I am so jealous that you are already wearing flip flops!
I am your newest follower, even tho I have been stalking you (no not stalking, Ha! lurking :) ) for a while. You inspire me, I am a beginner seamstress (is that what you call it? :) ) I am loving it and hope to someday make it my day job!
I know what you mean about the clothes, I started linking up with Lindsey, but I am limited in my clothes.
Summer is my favorite season! I think my absolute favorite part is the long daylight hours. And the warmth means I get to sit on my deck to eat my meals and I can sit out there until the moon comes up or later. I live in the country, surrounded on all four sides by fields so my closest neighbors are horses (one field is full of adopted mustangs) so I have a nice view for me to sit and stare at. Fresh strawberry lemonade, iced tea, flip flops and ponytails…I love summer. *hugs it*
Fall is my favorite! I love the cool air and it also means its time for football!
Spring for sure – we have such hard winters here in Winnipeg that getting rid of socks is my absolute fave thing!!
Favorite seasons are spring & autumn. Can I live someplace where it’s those two all the time, only?!
…that is one of my life goals! i need a summer home in Michigan for 6 months and a winter home in… CA or FL for 6 months *wink*
Honey it is between spring and fall. I love spring because it puts you in the mood for change and for flowers. Spring gets you ready for pretty floral prints, dresses, and summer. But I also love the fall because it gets you ready for the Holidays . OOh I how I love the holidays!!!
I love fall. The holidays approaching and the scent of crispness in the air.
I ALSO love that “blue steel” look you are giving in one of the above photos. I giggle and REALLY wish I knew I ‘d see you sometime soon. We need a SHOPPING DATE. cough. AHEM.
It would be so much fun.

ummmmmm i cant wait for your one year celebrations! congrats girrrl! so exciting!
I would say summer is my favorite because school is out! I also love spring and fall because of flower and the leaves and the comfortable temperatures! I could live without winter for the rest of my life!
girl, don’t worry about the outfits. i’m with you; some days I don’t get home until LATE, don’t have anyone to take pics of me, and to be honest, I don’t have a lot of options. why show the same outfits over and over? so, i select the outfits i share and save some for another time. :)
p.s. you are GORGEOUS, and I love you & your pretty self!!
Spring because I love how the colors just refresh the way I look at everything after the long winter.
You look so cute! Love that picture of you and Bauer!! And I can’t wait to see the big giveaway on Monday!
thank you for being so casual. so even i can wear this! and for being honest that you don’t have a huge wardrobe. takes the pressure off me having to have a ginormous wardrobe.
now… tell me how you fix your hair! what products you use, do you use a diffuser, everything. PLEASE. your hair style is adorable. my hair has the same type of curl, but i straighten it. need help.
hi denise! well — i made a vlog with ALL your questions answered ;]
i have to say spring. after the long winter, it is so refreshing to warm up and see and feel the sunshine. i think that feeling has to be ranked pretty high on my list
but fall is close for sure. living in SC, the summers are blazing with a capital b, and the cool air is welcomed with a big smile. but seems to go from hot to cold quick. i like the cool weather clothes better tho ; )
Thanks girly for answering my ? about the 1-2 outfits. that’s so sweet that you took time to do that :)
hope you dont mind my long comment, but I just wanna tell ya why i asked….
i have a small selection of clothes, (very small) which is ok because between work (uniform) and school (uniform scrubs) i dont have to *dress* very much ; ) (and when I’m home I wear lots of comfy house pants!) …. so, i would love to see how you re-wear same pieces throughout the week. i feel like i am always wearing the same thing!! looking for some inspiration on making the *same* outfit feel different.
hope you have a great weekend!!
