My friend Casey loves to paint, and friends — her work is gorgeous [& so inspirational]! I have a one of her paintings hanging in my studio – I am blessed to own some of her work. Casey writes an incredible blog of family, faith, art ~ I encourage you to read it :]

Casey & her hubby, Christopher, own an art school business — A Little Artsy. They used to have studio space for it {which was amazing!!!}, but they are now offering classes out of their Texas home. Their story and style is so incredible. I must share some of Casey’s work and a couple of their videos:

A Little Artsy (profile film) from Chris Wiegand on Vimeo.

♥

A Little Artsy Says “Goodbye” to Snider Plaza from Chris Wiegand on Vimeo.

One of my favorite parts of their profile film >> Casey’s vision for the kiddies that come to A Little Artsy is so “they can be inspired and grow up to be confident, wonderful adults.”

I love that.

Be blessed this Tuesday…
xo.

Casey is a sweetheart. I loved watching the videos as I hadnt seen them before. I soooo wish there was some sort of studio here for my kids but esp for my 7 year old who is a true artist. She’d never want to leave!
Thanks for sharing Casey with your readers.
    XO,
    Sarah

Casey I would love to know a little more. I would like to know how many teachers you have working w/ kids and on how many different projects they work on at a time. Where do you get the ideas for their projects? Is it a curriculum based program or is this truly freedom and creativity w/ a little direction and instruction? I ask because I’ve been asked repeatedly to teach art for ages 6-17, broken into three groups, and so far have said no. We’ve previously had all ages, and on average a small 10 percent of the group is actually interested in learning anything, the rest of the group just wants to talk and goof off. I’d love to have more dialogue with you and get some more ideas, to see if I should in fact teach art. Thanks!

I love it! I teach second grade and the best projects come from letting the kids just do their thing on a project. I love how now matter how you thought it would turn out, the kids always put a new twist on it! Thank you for sharing about such an awesome place!!
