{design updates to The Shop}

Last weekend I updated FOUR design elements in my shop ~ I love the new changes and I think you will, too.

These new updates make shopping a bit easier, and they help make my shop stand out a bit more. {Everyone likes to be “their own,” right?} Customization is my BFF ;]

1. A new holiday header …Featuring Gussy stockings! And I love the ornaments on the right — sooo festive & pretty. Be sure to place your order by December 6 if you’re shopping Gussy for Christmas.

2. Easier product browsing. View product listings that are just before or just after the product you’re currently looking at. I love this — it’s so convenient and it makes shopping easier, too!

3. “View more” product thumbnails.You can now see preview thumbnails of other products that are in the same category of the product you’re currently viewing. {Was that confusing?!} It works like this: Looking at a make-up bag? Now you can see OTHER available make-up bags without having to click over to that category.

4. View product thumbnails in shopping cart. When you’re viewing your shopping cart at checkout you now see little thumbnails of the Gussy products in your cart. Sooo cute! :]

What do you think? Will you like the new changes?

    LOVE them! I’m going to hunt you down for tutorials. I did find one for a pictured cart and have updated to that, but I tried another (maybe the forward buttons) and it completely tore my page apart. It was not pretty! So I went back to the basic template. BOOOOR-RING! I have got to come take Gussy computer lessons! haha!

    xoxo

    I love your shop…..both the look and the products! What program do you use to make your headers? I really need to be able to do that, but I don’t know what program to buy. Thanks!

    I would love a “Continue Shopping” link on the checkout page that takes you back to either the category you were just looking at or just back to the ALL Category.

    =)
