Learn to sew your own clothes! (NEW online course)

Fellow creatives: the ever inspiring Elise Cripe has created an online sewing course focused around garment sewing. Can you even believe it? I’m personally thrilled for her newest creative endeavor. I mean, yes! Go Elise, go!

For just $28 Elise will guide you through 13 written lessons, 6 step-by-step video tutorials of common techniques, and a 100% self-paced course schedule (scroll down for her promo video).

Just look at some of the items Elise has sewn for her own personal wardrobe (above). When I see this collection of clothing items I see articles that are comfortable, transitional, and timeless. Is that your goal for your wardrobe, too? Sign up for Elise’s course and learn her best garment-making tips!

A little more on Elise: she has been creating and writing online for over ten years! She and her husband Paul live in southern California with their two young daughters, and together as a family they enjoy grilling pizza, gardening, and reading books. Elise has a teacher’s heart, no doubt, and her teaching style is clear, approachable, and encouraging. (I can’t say enough kind things about her!) Like I said above, I am thrilled for this course!

Elise does a wonderful job bringing us along as she shares her creative process. Below are some photos of the progress she made while creating her sewing course, Sewing Isn’t Scary:

PS. not only does Elise know how to sew her own garments, she also knits her own garments! ((faints))
