My top 4 favorite blogs to read…

a cup of jo maggie whitley

I always enjoying learning about new blogs that are based around color, inspiration, home decorating (shop the house, anyone?), motherhood or fabric/crafts. These five categories basically sum up our home and my life, and anytime I have a free moment you can typically find me incorporating one of those themes. I have a small handful of favorite blogs to read, and I’d love to share them with you…

Here are my top 4 favorite blogs to read (and why):

+ A Cup of Jo: Joanna’s blog makes me feel like I’m reading all the best articles from my favorite magazine. I’m always learning something new, clicking away feeling inspired, or am pondering a topic shared.

+ Love Taza: Naomi writes honestly on motherhood, but in a totally uplifting manner. I’m also super drawn to her colorful home & life. Color is… just the best!

+ Nesting Place: Myquillyn writes exactly how she speaks, which I really enjoy. This is the only home decor blog I read, but what keeps me interested is Myq’s fresh perspective on creating an imperfect home, and her sense of humor :)

+ Elise Joy: Elise is powerhouse of ideas, accomplishing goals, and staying focused on her personal and (professional) style. I also go a little ga-ga over her love for plants, coffee, and motherhood, if we’re being honest here.

What are your two favorite blogs to read, and why? (I mean, do I even have to ask?) ;)

Funny- I was so excited to click on this title, hoping to find some more blogs to read (since yours is one of my top faves!), only to find that I follow all these blogs already. =) Haha!

i also read taza daily :) another one of my favorites (she doesn’t blog so regularly cuz you know, life gets in the way sometimes, but every time she does, i jump to read it) is the daybook blog – sydney. she’s real and honest and adorable. also love ashley at little miss momma. her writing is inspiring, a lot like yours ;)

mostly i’m just drawn to blogs that are fun and real and down to earth and have a bit of humor in there too. i’m not big on fashion stuff or controversial topics. i just like to fill my few internet minutes each day with good stuff.

“i just like to fill my few internet minutes each day with good stuff.” <-- that is a wonderful summary of how I feel as well ♥ Oh and PS. I used to read Sydney's blog, thanks for refreshing my memory!

Hey Maggie, I read http://jenniferjangles.blogspot.com/ all the time. After reading your post, I thought you might like hers. She is doing a embroidery series right now and I thought you might be interested :-)

    I love your blog (duh)!

Besides that I read Elise’s blog daily – she is super inspiring to me. And my other favourite is Alicia Paulson over at posiegetscozy.com. Everything she makes, photographs, and says just speaks to my heart in a very deep way. Have you visited there? I think you’d love her.
