Life has been buzzing around here. It’s kept us busy (the good kind) and tired come bedtime. Max’s nap schedule is kinda out the window, meaning sometimes he naps twice a day, sometimes he takes a hearty nap, sometimes he falls asleep snuggled in my arms. I’m not spending any unnecessary time thinking about this; I’m enjoying the spontaneity of it :)

I have a lot on my mind and I’ve been trying to process them, but they’re still a little jumbly for me. And, that’s OK too. There’s not much that needs to be sorted out rightthisinstant.

We’ve been outside a lot for morning & afternoon walks. I’ve been cooking a lot. Yesterday was my weekly moms group/bible study and I so enjoy going each week (!). Wednesday is the perfect day, a lovely pick-me-up right in the middle of the week.

And tomorrow I’m flying to Dallas for Hope Spoken, my first conference since Maxwell was born. My thoughts? I’m excited to go and nervous to leave home and praying for a super smooth flight.

I’ve got something great up my sewing sleeve. Fingers crossed I can share it with you soon! :)

I always love your photos. I miss the baby days with my daughter – every day. She is 13 now – it goes way too fast. I am taking sewing lessons with my girl and you are always inspiring us to do better(: Thanks! susan

@Susan Jeffries, that’s so incredible you’re learning how to sew together. Have you ever been to a local quilt shop? They usually have super gorgeous fabrics and I know you two would find fun fabric to create with :)

I have a dear friend going to the Hope Spoken conference as well. I hope that you have a lovely and inspiring time with God and women on fire for God. Safe travels!

Praying for you, sweet friend!! I know it will be hard to leave Maxwell, but it will be some good “just YOU” renewing time as well! :) I hope what you have up your sleeve is you saying that you’ll be visiting the midwest (MN) and I’ll get to hug your neck!!! ;) ;) #iknowwishfulthinking :)
