{She Reads Truth ~ an important update}

There’s no simple or easy way to share this. Since I treasure this community, however, it’s only appropriate to be open with you:

I am no longer a part of She Reads Truth.

After Zack + I returned from Tanzania I felt a very strong prompt from the Lord to share with you that I needed to be reading my Bible more. Then I asked you all to join me in the simple act of opening the Word daily.

She Reads Truth was born and it was a joy to be in the Word together.

In July I chose to step back from the busy-ness of She Reads Truth to rest my body. We had just found out I was pregnant and were preparing for our huge cross-country move. The rest of the team continued to move forward to grow She Reads Truth.

I continued to pursue reading the Word and was excited to jump back into the She Reads Truth community after we became settled in California.

However, when I returned from my break, it became clear that our goals for the future of She Reads Truth were not aligned, and it was decided to part ways.

I learned that God has different plans for me, for reading the Word and for the She Reads Truth community. I am thankful to have been part of the founding team and pray that the She Reads Truth ministry continues to impact women who desire to pursue the truth of God’s Word.

That said, I am still processing this change, so I hope you’ll understand my turning the comments off.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart, — Jeremiah 29:11-13
