This past week I’ve been visiting with my family in Michigan. Bauer + I braved the 12 hour drive early Tuesday morning with our cousin Alyssa riding shotgun, and together the three of us road tripped back home. AND IT IS SO GOOD TO BE BACK HERE! I finshed my work, we packed the Jeep, and off we went! I’ve really enjoyed being able to step back from work, to soak up nephew snuggles, the million questions they have for me about Bauer and the minute-by-minute updates they graciously give me ;) I’ve never been to my parents for an entire week alone {Zack is still in Minneapolis, holding down the fort + working… and I miss him terribly!} so this is a real treat to have all their attention, haha!

We’ve been to the dentist for little teefer cleanings, the splash park and out to breakfast with my brother. We’ve had late nights, a mix of sleeping in + waking up early, and of course lots and lots and lots and lots of chatter. It’s been perfect. And tonight we’ll be making our way to the family cottage for the weekend, one of my most favorite places to be.

I hope you’ve been able to enjoy your week lots, too :) I’ll be back to my normal blogging schedule in just a few days. xoxo
