The so kind, so smart, so friendly Tsh of Simple Mom podcasted with me a little bit ago and would you believe it, I shared with her {and all of y’all} how to pronounce, YEOW!

Of course we also chatted about Indie Biz stuff, how I started sewing, how her husband carries a Gussy laptop bag {for real — see below, tee hehe} + more! Click here to listen to our podcast!!!

Playing it back, it’s so fun to reflect on how far this Gussy Sews business has come since learning to sew in December 2008 when I received my first sewing machine. And now, I am podcasting with Tsh. Life really is good :)

Thank you Tsh for inviting me to podcast with you! And click here to see her other guests.

I just listened to this and I loved it! It is so inspiring to hear about people starting their own business by just using hard work and creativity!
    Awesome!

I REALLY enjoyed your podcast! I loved hearing about how you had your business while you had a full time job. And I was surprised that you have regular employees! I have always assumed that if I had my own business I would have to do all of the work 100% myself. I really would love to start my own little business but can’t seem to find my own niche. i’m a single woman with a great career, but feel I could be doing more in my spare time… You are an inspiration!!

I forgot to ask a question in my above comment. You mention a blog conference you will be speaking at in Pennsylvania. I believe you said it was Illume? But I can’t seem to find any information on this… Please share!
