{What I Wore Wednesday — sassy red wedges + a ruffly dress}

Filed Under: what I wore

If you’ve been reading these last few weeks you’ll understand why I’m proud of this outfit post. Remember how my goal for the year is to incorporate more color into my outfits? I found sassy red wedges from Target and I *knew* they’d be perfect for Sunday’s Baptism. My friend Mary asked me to be the godmother to their daughter June. The celebration was Sunday and it was beautiful + perfect! I’m so happy I could be a part of it :) AND — yesterday I babysat little June!

Chambray Ruffled Dress c/o Francesca’s Collections — this dress is super comfortable + lightweight!

Sassy, glossy red wedges from Target — love the bow detail on the toe!

Molded Heart Bracelet c/o Lisa Leonard Designs — it reads 06.07.08, our anniversary date

SMOOOOCH! — I wanted to kiss the photographer, he was really cute ;D

This linen dress is hand-wash only, BUT! it is so comfortable + ruffly that I don’t mind.

 Oh, these shoes. Best purchase ever because PSSST! I found them on clearance at Target for $7.49 last week

* * *

This outfit was so comfortable to wear that I could have worn it all day with no problem. It even has pockets which makes it even more perfect. I should have slipped my lipgloss in there ;D I’m wearing some of that 8-hour no-smudge lipstick and it was perfect for June’s special day on Sunday. Now, to think of a fun date night for Zack + I  so I can wear this dress again…

Do you have a favorite dress or pair of shoes for the summer? What does it look like? Why do you love it?

      @Mindy Kral, It’s Outlast by Cover Girl, that 8-hour stuff? It’s my favorite. I love wearing lipstick but I hate that it wears off. Reapplying it ten times a day is just too much work. But this stuff? I lurve it :)

    I love my super comfy old navy sundresses. I got a cute pink/white chevron one and a bright blue one. So comfy but better than yoga pants. I didn’t do a WIWW post today, but I did blog about my gussy tote that came in the mail yesterday. LOVE IT! And I had 3 people ask about it at work today. It is my newest summer accessory, and it goes with everything in my closet. Thanks!
