yay, yay — Welcome to the Inspiration Workshop!, a monthly linky party where we blog about the scheduled prompt ~ and this months the prompt is SPRING! Not to be a dork, but Minneapolis is starting to smell like spring. I can hardly stand it, it’s just so lovely + fresh!

Wanna link up with us today? See the end of this post for instructions on how to link up with us // how to receive our monthly newsletter.

The warmer weather we’ve had here in Minneapolis has me ready to incorporate more green + yellow into our home. This weekend I’m going to swap out the rest of our winter decorations for a more fresh look, I can’t wait! The book display below has inspired me to change things up on our mantle, too. And ya know what… after reading Nester’s blog yesterday I’ve decided to make some finger knit garland for our living room, too ~ green or peach sound like the perfect colors. I thought the rainbow quote below was super cute + super practical ♥. And then there’s the blue shelf for displaying pretty dishes + darling tea cups, and a fun wreath DIY. All are perfect for spring :]

Isn’t it amazing how a simple book display can be so pretty?? Our daffodils have come and gone, but now our tulips are coming up!

Ahhhhh…I’m behind. My spring post won’t go up until later today :( But it’s got crafty goodness and spring flowers in it. That counts for something, right?

Ah see what I meant was, “I’m terribly behind my self imposed schedule and needlessly stressing when I should be outside enjoying unseasonably warm weather.” Don’t worry, I’ve since gotten my priorities in check (and linked up!).

it means green grass, blue skies, having goosebumps pop up on your arms from the slightest breeze rustling through the trees…you are chilly for a spilt second then you are back to being hot in the sweet sunshine.
whoa. i just ran away with that sentence :)

Politicians want better education statistics and demand that superintendents allow it to be so.
