{Inspiration Workshop! — FALL}

Just last weekend our yard was full of pine tree “stuff”, but our handy dandy yardman came by and picked things up! {hello, mister landlord!} And while he was picking things up, Bauer was outside playing in the piles and nearly making a mess ;] It’s crazy how quickly it cooled off here in Minneapolis, yet this week it’s been in the mid-80’s ~ a little warm at times but I know I shouldn’t complain. In another month or so it’ll be so cold out that running outside in the early morning/late at night with Bauer will consist of a winter robe + fuzzy boots. Hah!… I’m so thankful we’re on the corner so our neighbors never see me.

Fall — it’s here, hooray! The leaves are changing colors, I’m feeling more snuggly {tee hehe} and we’re busy with sewing projects for a major holiday in December. Our backyard is pretty amazing this time of year: we love the space, so much that we are able to enjoy backyard fires, Zack can build things for us {like a custom packaging table for the business} and I can paint my Inspiration Board on the patio.

When we lived downtown, like RIGHT downtown, we didn’t have any outside space. It was so hard and eventually we felt so closed in that we decided to move to the house we’re in now. It’s been amazing. Having our own space has allowed us to adopt a puppy, expand the business, host parties, enjoy overnight guests…

One thing I’m really looking forward to with the fall season is finishing up some DIYs and searching for pumpkins & gourds to decorate our front porch and living room mantle. I think Bauer needs his own pumpkin to carve…? ;]

How about you? What about FALL are you looking forward to?

    I love spending time outside in the fall…love the colors and the smells (and so much more). And I love taking the dog for walks in the fall and seeing all the changing decor on neighbors’ homes. Thanks for hosting, Maggie!

      every time i look at him i see a little boy, not a puppy. his attitude, his playful spirit, the way he runs into the backyard and perks an ear straight up so he can hear the squirrel hiding, it’s just tooooo cute. hah! and then in the morning, he’s ultra snuggly — this dog likes to SLEEP IN!

      {do you think i’m crazy? say no.}

    I love the way Fall looks. From the way people dress themselves, to their homes and businesses. It just makes me feel warm! Thank you for sharing your lovely photos! :)
