SQUEEEEE ~ I have three more NEW items that are now in the Gussy shop! {Click here to see shop updates #1 and #2.}

I’m loving how fun & punchy these fabric combinations are! And since I’ve been carrying new product around lately {this market tote + this clutch} I thought it would be perfect for this WIWW post. Make sure you visit Lindsey’s blog for the full linky party :]

See how easy it is to add color to your outfits? It has me excited for the fall season here in Minneapolis. How CUTE will this tangerine color be, or the mustard ruffle on the charcoal dot bag? yeow!

Here’s a better photo of the three bags I listed {links are below}:

charcoal dot market tote * tangerine dot market tote * charcoal dot tote bag // diaper bag

GUESS WHAT? the Charcoal Dot bags are available in these ruffle colors ^

* So last week I rearranged the studio and then over the weekend Zack and I built a HUGE organizational unit, it’s 6′ x 6′! So while I finish editing and prepping the post I thought it would be fun to show off a few photos of our new workspace. When Lisa & Ashley came over to work the day after I moved everything, they both gave me the I APPROVE smile, which felt great! :] I have no clue why it took me so long to sit down with everyone and brainstorm the new layout… But I’m seriously so glad we were able to chat/figure it out.

And in case you’re wondering: In this post I’m wearing aqua shorts & a purple striped tank, both from Target ;]

SHARE WITH ME: what is your favorite color combination for the fall season?

I really like the photos of you modeling the bags–I love seeing how they “wear.” My favorite is the grey with the mustard ruffle!

And your studio looks like a magical place!

My husband & I both work for Target, and I love it when people post about Target. I feel special when the company I work for is mentioned over and over again in a positive light.

This fall I am excited about teal and gray and yellow combinations. I don’t have any yellow in my wardrobe so I can’t wait to get out there and find some cute pieces. Fall is my favorite season! Flats, sweaters, scarves oh my!

I love these new bags! I think this is the season I add a Gussy bag to my wardrobe! ;) And I am crazy about your workspace. Never thought to use those bed risers to bring a table up to a more workable height. Stealing that! Such wonderful light, too. Fun!

adding the risers to the cutting table really has been the greatest idea (at least in the top 5!) — it also adds more storage under the table, which is a plus. thanks for the comment!! XOXO

In LOVE with the bags! I have been using greys, blacks, oranges, reds and purples in my collection so far, as part of my ‘Aura’ Collection. I love the outfit posts with it, and your studio space looks awesome! I will need to rearrange my own studio I think! <3

I just love your workspace! It’s so functional but cute. :) My favorite fall combination has to be anything with deep, rich colors, but right now I’m loving the idea of a warm yellow and a rich turquoise. Doesn’t that sound pretty? I think it’s a great color combination for the time in between summer and fall. :)

How about a little Wednesday night introduction? 😘Social media sure has changed over the years and we don’t always SEE who we’re following or remember WHY we’re following certain accounts.

So, hello! As you can gather, my name is Maggie ;)

I started writing online (almost 13 years ago) to share the handmade products I was sewing. My shop was called Gussy Sews. ✂️👛I love the community that has grown from sewing & sharing online.

Let’s FFW to today: Zack and I live in Michigan and have four young children (2 boys & 2 girls). I slowly left the handmade industry and walked right into homemaking, homeschooling, and encouraging women through writing. 💕📝

Motherhood has been very hard on me. (And not just because of how close in age our four children are.) It’s been hard for me because I fought for years to accept that *it’s supposed to be hard*.

I mean, how do you effectively teach another person to know and love the Lord? Bc that’s how I think of motherhood: a calling to nurture others by studying the One who nurtures me. So I gotta make the first move: study the Bible and seek Him first. As my friend Autumn reminded me, vulnerability births transformation.

(I’ve had to be really vulnerable!)

So, yes motherhood has fully transformed me. But even more so, Christ has fully transformed me. My list of “all that He’s done for me” is off to a beautifully long start.

Something else I want you to know about me: I stalled for years before acknowledging I have anxiety and depression. It’s hard to talk about this because of course this isn’t forever “my hardship”, but rather because acknowledging this means to heal I have to work through some really difficult things. ✨

But my friend Jesus walks alongside me. He’s already done a mighty work in my heart, including helping me process my anger in healthier ways. I’ve also adopted a heart for sisterhood, mothering, and Titus 2 mentorship.

Sometimes our greatest losses are our greatest gains? That’s what I’m clinging to!

How about you? Tell me something about yourself so I can get to know you on a deeper heart level. 🖤🖤
