hi there! {waves} it’s time for another 7 pretty things post. this week i’m inspired by color, celebrations and crazy love! FIVE years ago today Zack proposed at my parents cottage. this day will always be special to me. AND then of course there’s the holiday, and then my birthday is on the 5th. eeeeek — such a busy 3 days. i love it! :]

the weekend is going by nice & slow :] we’ve done so much and it’s been sooo amazing. i haven’t even snapped any pics, which is a little sad but i guess it means i’m living in the moment ~ which is always fun!

here’s a little list of some of the things we’ve done: washed the car, swam in the lake + had a cookout with friends, yard work {blah!}, napped, sipped iced-coffee at home, brunch in Uptown + pre-birthday shopping. i can’t wait for tomorrow to be the the 4th of July! we’re having friends over for a cookout… yay!

pssst — are you on pinterest? if not, but you want to be, let me know below and i’ll send you an invite!

I love pinterest! I get all of my inspiration from there these days. It’s just too great not to find something amazing each time you go on. :) Happy 4th!

I tried for so long to avoid pinterest (I definitely don’t need another thing to get addicted to online), but checked it out for the first time last week and seriously was on for almost two hours. So many pretty things! Sounds like you had a great weekend–mine went by nice and slowly, too. Coffee/donut date with my boys friday night, lots of time at the pool on Saturday, friends drove up to visit Saturday night and stayed until Monday.Happy Birthday! Enjoy your day!
