March 5, 2011 ·

This giveaway is now closed.

Today’s Saturday shopping post is inspired by *your perfect trip* ♥

Let’s pretend you’re going on a trip. The most perfect trip where the weather is exactly what you want it to be, you’re doing your favorite fun thing, eating at the tastiest restaurant {or cooking with your favorite ingredients}. You’re with your favorite person {maybe you’re with a big group??} and you’re gone for the perfect number of days {3? 7? 14?!}.

Certainly you need a bag to carry some things. How about a Gussy bag ~ Pink Starburst tote bag:

Inside you can carry your laptop, a towel, books & magazines, some snacks, a change of clothes, a few smaller bags {are you out shopping?}. Our tote bags are super lightweight, easy to fold & carry inside another bag. And who doesn’t love a burst of color via a GUSSY RUFFLE?

So you like to read… I saw inside your tote bag you had a big stack of books & mags. Is a nook, kindle or maybe an iPad on your “wants” list? If so, be sure to ask for one of our eReader cases…

One afternoon you head out for a late lunch. You grab your wristlet/clutch and slip on a ruffled headband ~ both in Spring Blue:

What else do you bring? How about a small zipped pouch for your point&shoot camera, a medium zipped pouch to hold your jewelry, and a make-up bag to organize small travel items ~

Sign your name below, sharing what the perfect trip looks like, and enter to win $30 Gussy shop credit. Hurry though, this giveaway ends Sunday night. xoxo

My perfect trip is to London with my hubby and little girl, showing them all ny favorite places from when I studied there in college. A new Gussy would be the perfect place to hold all my travel essentials, especially the always needed London umbrella.

My perfect trip… anywhere with my hubby. Someplace warm, where I’m waited on hand and foot (no dishes to do, no laundry, no diapers to change). A week would be wonderful but I don’t think I could be away from my littles for that long! 3-5 days would probably be more realistic!

um wow! The locale could really be anywhere for me, but what I would take with me?? Spot on in your post! The tote (adorable!) full of fun stuff and an iPad case (also adorable!) plus a little wristlet carrying my phone and some cash to buy fun stuff. :). Like i said though, locale makes no difference…put me in northern Alaska in January or Chicago in spring…I would make a fantastic vacation for myself and my hubs!!

This April my husband and I will be traveling to Europe for 10 days. I have only known about your products for about a week now ( I was recommended to check it out from a friend who bought a bag.) We are traveling to Barcelona and taking a Mediterainian Cruise to France and Italy. This trip has always been a dream of my husband and I before we start a family and I can’t believe we are doing it! I would love to travel with one of your bags, they are beautiful!

my dream trip is the outerbanks with my husband… I’d take a Gussy tote to the beach with my towel, sunglasses, sunscreen, book, and some fresh peaches in it. After a day of fun in the sun we head back to the beach cottage, shower up and I would slip on a Gussy ruffle headband to match my sundress and grab a coordinating Gussy wristlet to head out for crab legs at our favorite restaurant! :)

Oh summer – please come soon!

I’ am going on the perfect trip in one week! My husband and I are taking my daughter and my parents to New Orleans! My husband is from there and moved her after Katrina. I’ve been back with him before by now we are taking the whole family. We are staying in a big fancy hotel built in 1886 right in the French Quarter. Oh, the delicious food we will eat! The shopping! The sites! The people! I am so excited! I sure hope my Gussy wristlet and headband get here before the trip ;) I am also getting a kindle for my birthday so I would sure love that shop credit to get a Gussy ereader case!

Any trip, anywhere. I haven’t been anywhere in so long.

But I absolutely love staying in hotels, and I’m really looking forward to warmer weather, so anywhere warm and sunny, as Michigan is dreary today, with an abundance of rain. I’d take my husband and my nephew – maybe my two sister-in-laws if they beg ;D

And go to florida or cali or arizona.

Anywhere!

The winter blues have really set in, so my perfect getaway would include warmth, sunshine, and my fantastically awesome husband {is fantastically even a word?!}. We have 3 children, and some time away, just the two of us, to reconnect, enjoy each other and remind us why we fell in love {without kids yelling a screaming} would be bliss… Even if it was just for a weekend.

The beach! It’d be my little family: hubby and son and then we’d take our best friends too. We’d stay in a beach house and hubby would cook with local ingredients to make fabulous meals that we eat outside with the breeze. The kids would play in the water and sand and we’d sleep with the windows/doors open wide to get breezes and ocean sounds. And I wouldn’t get sunburned!

My perfect Saturday trip would be packing up the necessites in the Gussy Market Tote (which I am drooling over, but haven’t been able to afford yet) and getting the stroller out and walking a couple of blocks down the street with my husband and son and spending the day at our local zoo. Jackson has just started to really get into animals and I love watching a smile spread across his face as he watches the monkeys. Wow ~ looking at all the comments so far, we are READY for winter to be over! I think my perfect trip would be a cruise to someplace like Mexico. I’ve never been on one (yet!) but I like the idea of all inclusive, new places to visit (without me having to execute the actual traveling), warm sand & blue water (or a beautiful heated pool if I don’t feel like getting off the boat!).
Of course, I’d need a few Gussy bags to carry around my books, swimsuit, sunscreen, a big floppy hat, etc…
