{7 pretty things on Sunday}

Filed Under: 7 pretty things

I’m so glad I started this new series, 7 pretty things on Sunday… I love to see the creative ways people take photographs. And the fun adventures people go on//the ideas they have that spark their ideas. This week’s post is inspired by DREAMS. If I’m ever in a creative rut, I like to lay down and try to silence my thoughts. Then I think of one thing that makes me happy. I let that thought lead into another happy thought. Some times I’ll try to think how that could relate to a new product. I’ll think of colors, fabric patterns, who would use it? Dreaming is so important. I think it helps us to relax and brainstorm new goals for ourselves, too. All photos are from weheartit.com — one of my favorite websites to spend time on :]

PS. the 4th photo down is my favorite!!!

One of my favorite things to dream out is spending lots & lots of time outside. I’m hearing the birds sing more each day, and now that we live close to 2 lakes I am {trying to} patiently waiting for spring. My foot is about to start tapping, though…

Share with us: What do you love to dream about?
xoxo

    I’m so happy you’re doing this series, too! It’s so beautiful! My favorite is the 5th one down – bubbles/water? (can’t tell) Happy Sunday to you!

    What pretty photos! I’m loving the origami stars & the very first photo! I might just have to make some pretty words and hang them with yarn!

    The fourth photo reminds me of where all the lost boys live on Peter Pan! I love the real life version of Peter Pan with Robin Williams in it…My favorite part is when the lost boys and Peter are having dinner and Peter doesn’t believe yet so all he see’s are empty bowls and plates…then they have a food fight….any one seen this movie too?

    I love dreaming about spring flowers blooming, spending time in my [imaginary because I don’t have one yet] garden, going for long evening walks, holding this baby in my arms and dreaming if they will be blue or hazel like his brother’s…
    LOVE the photos you chose for your dream theme…

    The 4th pic is my fave too! So magical! My favorite thing to dream about is vacations…we usually are planning our next one even when we are on one. It doesn’t even have tone a big trip…day trips can be just as fun.

    I love the picture of the stars, my husband makes them while overseas. I dream of one day Sew Katy being huge, like Gussy Sews. It’s good to dream. :)

    We dream about where the blog we started will take us! In the past couple of years we’ve met more amazing and fun people (like Gussy!), created more and dared to step out on the adventure of business, blogging and creating! We use to call our journey “from dryer lint to dreams (http://lovefeasttable.com/blog/from-dryer-lint-to-dreams/) because when we first started, we didn’t know how far we’d ever get! But taking one step after the next and having faith to believe in growth!! We are seeing the buds of our dreams beginning to launch! (New website on it’s way!!) Yes!! We too love inspiration, dreams and pretty things!! And, we luv Gussy!! :)

    when we were in the maldives we saw little tent canopies like that at one of the resorts we taught at. i thought they were incredible, dreamy, and also kind of scary. i’d take one though…maybe just a little lower to the ground? :)
