Lately I’ve been feeling a little cabin fever, so I headed out to a new coffee shop, Urban Bean, yesterday morning. Amazing. Amazing, amazing. I think red & white are my new favorite colors of the season :] Even though it’s soooo cold here, I don’t mind the weather. I have a great coat, a warm scarf, and a cute pair of knitted mittens to bundle up with. Zack loves when I have rosy cheeks from being outside, too ;]

Ahhh, Bauer! He’s so cute and cuddly. And naughty! I’m finding him with a slipper in his mouth more & more; or every once in a while he’ll come running through the house with thread hanging off his nose. {Seems like lately there’s thread everywhere in this house… Oops!!!} He’s my real-life stuffed animal *wink*.

Our evenings at home as a family go by way too fast. Zack has been working a little later this week and we miss him. See, Bauer is laying on the couch because he’s so tired of being sad ;]

That’s so terrible of me! Zack, it’s OK — we understand ♥ When we moved into this house it was soooo bare. I feel like we’re finally able to fill the rooms with some more furniture or decorations. It’s been a process, that’s for sure.

Thank goodness Ikea is around — Sunday we picked up a few things to fill the empty spaces, and I love them! The two glass jars on the mantle are Ikea finds {below}.

Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree! You’ve done us well since we bought you last year…

I wonder what Santa is bringing me this year? Maybe Bauer’s real-life brother, Milkman? Ha ha… kidding. Kinda.

These are great pics! And, if you have a little one on the way I will I have to say that I would be so excited for you! A gussy baby! So awesome!

      you’re terrible ;)

I meant Bauer’s real brother, Milkman, not a baby brother. His dog brother. From his doggy mama.

Your house looks so cozy and darling. I’m so jealous of your Ikea! The closest one to us is 4 hrs. Love the couch and chair combo – You have such a fab design eye for color and simplicity!
