Summertime Lovin’

In my home state of Michigan, summertime is cherished by all.
After what seems like an eternity of cold and slush and bundling up and hibernating,
it is a truly glorious thing to feel the warm sun on your face
and prance around in a cotton dress and sandals.

As I was taking a long stroll on a particularly
lovely summer evening recently, I pleaded with summer never to leave.

Then I thought about what it is about summer I love so much.

Here are just a few things I thought about :]

♥ long evening walks through the neighborhood & park with my hubby and my pup

♥ picnics

♥ eating ice cream on a nearly daily basis

♥ caprese salad

♥ enjoying meals outdoors

♥ fresh lemonade

♥ farmers’ markets

I’d love to know…
What do you love about summer?

My fav thing about summer is definitely weekends spent at my parents’ house on the lake. Love it.
