I know {from all your comments via Twitter} that so many of you are just achin’ to know who won the impromptu Gussy clutch/wristlet giveaway last night. Her name is Angie H. and she wrote, I love them! I would love to have a clutch!

Angie, please check your email for a little note from me :]

And also, thanks sew much for all 216 comments left. Honestly, it meant to much to have all that lovin’ for my ruffles.

REMEMBER HOW THIS FRIDAY IS MY LAST DAY @ THE DAY JOB?! {skips around apartment}

I can hardly believe it…

The number of thoughts running inside my head {just this week alone} has been insane! I truly can’t believe how much work this is. How much FUN work this is. I’m having a little party next week, and those of you signed up for my newsletter will receive all the inside information FIRST! :]

Also, each month I draw a subscriber name to win a ruffled checkbook cover. Sew be sure to sign up!

*I’m planning an online Gussy party!*

And I’ve been busy decorating for the celebration — for example, a special header to promote the celebration. No, silly. It’s not up now. Check back Monday morning! How else are we celebrating? Giveaways, discount codes, new product, too {oh my!}.

So many people have asked me how everything is going and I can’t help but whip out a big smile in return. I mean, my boss was so supportive of my decision, so encouraging — clearly this is the right path for us. Yeowwww!

At some point, whenever I thought of this new adventure, the image of balloons popped into my blonde-haired head.

See, blonde:

{So sorry for the distraction.}

Balloons represent so much: childhood, celebration, fun, freedom.

Are those not words I would use to describe Gussy and this experience of going full-time starting Friday evening?

I’ll answer that for you: they are words I would use. So I can’t help but continue to show you some of my favorite inspiration balloon photos…

“if you want to know where you heart is, look where your mind goes when it wanders.“

A few things I’m looking forward to come Monday:

1. Having more daylight time to photograph new products. I’ve always had a small window for photographing new items, and it’s always only been weekend time. This will be a huge change for me! Sew excited!!!

2. There will be more time to relax and reflect on my business. But I can only look at “more time” as a very positive thing :]

“Weekly Plan: the best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.”

3. There will be more time to reflect on my blog. …Ya know, really love on the Gussy community and set some amazing goals for myself personally and professionally.

4. There will be more time to reflect on my husband and our marriage. My husband is so fun — he’s such an encourager, such a lover. I am so thankful for him and all the patience he’s shown me so that I could grow my business ♥.
