It seems as though writing my last post {I did it! I did it!} was the “OK” to suddenly become exhausted. Oy! Zack and I celebrated Friday night, and since then I’ve slept, watch TV, sewn a little, and slept some more. Hah! Not proud to be admitting that, but maybe if I admit it I’ll find my energy?

I’ve also spent some time daydreaming of what my first day as Gussy will be like, some ideas for blog topics, another running series, etc. Ya know, in between naps and all. Maybe all this rest now will help me to NOT become sick come May 14. I’ve been told, by other indie artists, that when you finally allow your body to take a break {aka: freeing up your schedule like whoa} that you’ll most likely become sick.

Ahhh! That sew cannot happen! So I’ll nap now :]

Yesterday Zack and I were at Chipotle and before we left Zack wanted to fill up our drink cup. I found him stuffing {literally} lemons and limes {and Sprite} into our lemonade. I just looked at him, to which he replied, Do you have some maturity I can borrow?

***

I’ve read through alllll the comments from my “I did it!” post and I just want to say thank you so very much for them!!!!! I’m very excited to start this new adventure :]

See? This is me excited:

And! Remember to enter the Featured Artist giveaway, Uniquely E Jewelry, because it ends tonight at 10 CST.

xoxo!

Speaking of getting sick when you slow down… When I was in college, I seemed to get sick almost every semester when finals got over. Ugh. I sure hope that you don’t have to deal with that!!

So excited for you and your big transition!!

I’m so excited for you…and I love your hair. I wish my hair looked so cute!!
I think I’ve finally figured out what the family goal is for. At 1st I thought it was for you becoming Gussy full time, but I was wrong. If it’s what I think it is, we’re working on the same thing, but it’ll be a LONG time before we’re at 100% because of our student loans. I love DR!!!

You are the cutest thing! My husband and I were in the Minneapolis airport on Friday (we were on our way home to Michigan) and I thought to myself how cool would it be to randomly run into you there. :) Wishful thinking on my part! Can’t wait to see what this next adventure of full time Gussy brings for you!!

Ok, first of all. I just read the previous comments and your mother sounds EXACTLY like mine when it comes to being totally smitten with one of her “babies”. My brother and I are in our 30s now and my mom just wants to kiss all over our faces and hug us nonstop when she sees us. It used to be embarassing, but I humor her now that I have my own babies. ;)

Secondly, the getting sick part. No fail, every time Chad has worked on a big project nonstop….as soon as it’s over and he relaxes, an extreme migraine appears. I’m not kidding. I can always predict it. Be careful and rest throughout.

And lastly, (besides your hubby sounding totally hilarious from his comment you quoted) I’m excited for you and this new adventure and you will rock it. Good luck!! :)
