{This post is a continuation from part I.}

Yesterday I shared the story of our little red couch, along with other special things — of how much it means to us and why.

But there are other great things we love that sit in our apartment, like this white desk Zack picked up for me for Christmas, and the netbook bags I had just listed at the time.

That desk is where I work when I’m not sewing. Right there with my paisley mug of coffee. With orders waiting to ship, atop my printer. With all my sticky notes that help me stay on top of things.

See that bouquet? It’s from our wedding and it sits in the vase that holds salt. Salt used to represent our unity as we both poured smaller vases of salt into that large vase of salt. Combined; indefinitely two as one.

So this is our home…

And we are happy here, with our little red couch, teal chair, white desk, flower bouquet, each other and all.

The end :]

    wow, what a blessing to have your bouquet from your wedding day still! There’s no way mine would have made it with all the moving I’ve done with my military man! Loved seeing that you’ve been able to hold onto that.

    I love the colors throughout your home, there are 3 of my favorite! That is so sweet that you still have your wedding bouquet, I couldn’t even tell you where mine is, or for that matter where it was a day after the wedding! Thanks for sharing this part of your life, it’s so nice to see inside the lives of those people that inspire you! Have a lovely Monday Maggie!

    Gussy, your home is so cute, and I love the sentiment to be found. Love your bouquet, and I never knew salt could be so meaningful.

    Happy Monday, Gus. :)

    Really sweet post. I am not a sentimental person at all, but I even still treasure my bouquet from my wedding day – more than my wedding dress! haha And love your couch! I need to learn how to reupholster furniture – so fun! :)
