20 weeks with baby #3!

I confess: the weeks are flying by with this pregnancy! Of course this is a little expected as my daily goal is to keep up with our two toddlers (what? toddlers?). Since we’ve had a variety of pregnancy, delivery, and post-partum experiences, maybe it’s to help put the kibosh on any unnecessary worries? That would make sense :)

We have officially hit the halfway mark: 20 weeks pregnant! I feel super, super great! The baby is giving me little flutters (mostly at night), which is so fun. Max came up to my growing belly the other day and kissed it, and I just about melted onto the floor. Our entire family is excited about baby #3 ;) we don’t know the baby’s gender, and we decided to once again NOT find out, yeow! But I will share this: with both of my previous pregnancies I had no trouble falling in love with a baby name that (coincidentally) matched the baby’s actual gender. With Maxwell, I felt super confident on our boy name. With Natalie, I felt super confident with our girl name. And our third time around has been no different: I love our boy name, but I’m having a hard time committing to a girl name ;) look, now I’ve jinxed the whole thing.

Anyhoo, I am just so grateful to have a healthy baby growing in my belly. It is still very fresh to me how worried I was just three years ago, wondering when we would have a baby. And look how that prayer request has been answered! I know all requests aren’t always answered so quickly, and I often think back to the adventures God brought us on before leading us to parenthood. Even though we don’t know what lies ahead, we do know we can rest our faith on God. He will bring us through anything and everything. INCLUDING how to be a mama to three little ones, three years old and younger! :)

    You look fabulous, Maggie!
That last part? Yes. I’m enjoying grandchildren now when I remember all those years ago how we struggled wondering when God would bless us. His timing is perfect. God is so good to us!

You look so happy! When we tried to have a baby, it was so difficult, takes more than one year!
But now we are so happy! Our toddler is 18 months.
    Congrats Maggy

    Ps: sorry my english :(

You know — I’m realizing more and more how common (and normal) that time frame is :) Love your comments, they’re perfect! xx

You have just about the most adorable belly that I’ve ever seen! Love your positive perspective–always so encouraging, and a reminder to be thankful for what we have right here in front of us. Hope this pregnancy continues to go well. We didn’t find out the genders of our two either…so fun to wait in anticipation! :-)

I love following people via SM and the blog world who have pregnancies that match up so closely with mine! I’m expecting our first, and I feel like we’re all in this big pregnancy-club together! :)

You look so cute with your basketball bump, and isn’t God amazing with how he answers our prayers so well? Hindsight is 20-20 obviously but the timing makes so much sense looking backwards.
