Win a $75 gift card to Pickture That!

For a little mid-week excitement I’m here with a giveaway from one of our sidebar sponsors.

Pickture That! makes fun, custom photo bracelets that are scratch, stain and water resistant — sounds like a perfect match for your favorite Instagram photos ;) Heidi shares more about their business, including a little encouragement for fellow handmade makers, and is offering a $75 gift card to the Maggie Whitley Designs community. Good luck!

PicktureThat! was started 4 years ago after I (photo-obsessed Heidi) had gone to a photo booth with my best friend. I had the photo strip in my hand and just knew I had to do something that would let me do more with it than store it away in a scrapbook. Viola!, photo bracelets. I love jewelry and I love looking at photos all day so I decided to put them together and the rest, as they say, is history.

I think my biggest piece of advice for fellow makers would be to stick to your passions. Sometimes it’s easy to be swayed by trends or pressures from others about what your creations should be, but staying true to yourself and your creativity is ALWAYS number one in my book.

What inspires me? More like “what doesn’t inspire me”. Generally, it’s the small things that bring me joy. I love genuine people, my family, nature, people who live their dreams, travel. I could go on and on…

Nothing gets me down when I get to look at cute pictures all day long! ;) When long days come my way, I truly am just so grateful for all of the love and support I get from my customers.  I LOVE hearing from them when they’re so happy with their bracelets, or the bracelet they bought for their loved one was a huge success. It really makes it all worth it!

Balancing work and personal life is really hard for me because it’s difficult to leave work at the door when the door is my home. It never truly leaves my mind and I get so excited about things. But, I am working on finding my balance and am learning it’s actually necessary for me to step back into the world to experience things that keep me inspired.

I think the issue here is…how do we pick which picture to put on them?! ;) I love this idea and think they would make such great gifts for the ladies in my life. Looking forward to slimming down my picture list and order a bracelet soon. Crossing my fingers I win so I can share the love with family members too.

i would choose two themes a bracelet for my mom with pictures of all three of us kids growing up and a picture of us now and for both of my grandmas I would choose pictures that represent what is so important to them. Their children, their families, their passed away parents, their grandchildren, and a picture if their spouse :) these are so amazing and such great custom gifts to show how much you care about them!

My theme for my bracelet would be me and my best friend, my sister Sarany! She is getting married soon, and I am sad to loose my best friend to her fiancé in Arkansas, but also excited for her! It would be a friendship/sister bracelet type of thing! I would love to win!!
