{How I use my medium zip Gussy pouch.}

A staple inside any purse or bag I’ve carried for the last, ohhhh, four years is our medium zip pouch. It’s perfect for storing my sunglasses. In another I carry the essentials: chapstick, a pen, and a small wallet. Stamps, gum and bobby pins have also found their way inside, too ;) Our medium zips are just so versitle that it’s seriously hard for me to carry just one pouch. Don’t tell anyone.

And I love that lately they’ve been coordinating with my outfits, like this orange houndstooth pouch. Am I a dork or what? :)

But, here’s the deal… I don’t always carry a diaper bag with me (gasp!) because we keep a backup in the Jeep with all the essentials: diapers, wipes, burp cloths, blankets and an extra outfit for Max. So regardless of whether I have a purse or a diaper bag with me, I can easily carry one of my pouches because they’re easily transferable between bags. Love that.

And sometimes one pouch is empty! You never know when you need to get organized, right?! I think the younger version of me could have used one of my pouches for my ever-growing chapstick collection. Right, dad? Ahem.

Other uses for a medium zip Gussy pouch: coupons, paci/cleaning wipes, crayons/small pad of paper, make-up/beauty essentials, crochet needles, travel case [earbuds, gum, lip balm, anti-bacterial gel], personal products.

^ what I’m wearing: teal striped dress, Old Navy | braided sandals, Target | medium zip pouches, my shop | prescription eye glasses, Paul Smith

even more medium zips: vintage floral, summer daydreams, mr. fox, mod floral, citron floral

These beauties are only $22 and are easy to gift to yourself or to a dear friend. How fun to gift a new mama with a Gussy Sews medium zip pouch and include a Starbucks gift card, lip balm and bottle of nail polish!

How would you gift one of our pouches, or how do you personally use your Gussy?

    I just purchased my first Gussy Sews item. I plan on using it as a makeup bag. I can’t wait to get it in the mail!

    Hey Gussy – I have a large pouch and seriously, this thing is so versatile, and I jam pack mine (I should take a pic and send it to you). I put everything that is normally lose in my purse in there. I was thinking the medium one would be great for putting all my lose receipts that normally get shoved into my bag – right? The fun pattern always makes me smile when I open my oh-so-boring purse :):)

    I love my gussy pouches! I use them to keep my purse organized. Change in one and makeup in another!
