Back in June I sent out a call for you to leave me your questions in the comments section, promising I’d answer them in the form of a vlog.
Well… the time has come to answer them! :] I have part 1 recorded and am working on parts 2, 3, and 4. Yep — there were that many questions asked! And what I think I’m the most proud of is that there were very, very few duplicate questions. So here are my answers ~

Maybe you’ve seen my tweets, sharing snippets from our Michigan vacation? Maybe you haven’t? So if you haven’t, I’ve got some instagram pics for ya – wink! We’re in northern MI right now, but before we head back to Minneapolis we’ll be traveling to a few other cities in our home state to visit my side of our family :]
It has been so super hot that I’m a little surprised I haven’t melted away yet… I have to admit, this heat is stealing all my energy to talk! hah!
But don’t worry, I’m staying cool by playing in the lake with my man & pup, and then sitting in the shade to rest. While eating cotton candy. And drinking lots of water. And having lunch at super yummy restaurants with our family.

Did Bauer like the kayak?
He sure did! And funny story ~ Bauer started out in Zack’s kayak but that lasted for like 2 minutes… He wanted to be with his mama ;)

Such a small, small world. You live about an 1 1/2 hours from me in Minneapolis and your family is about 1 1/2 hours from me in Michigan (I grew up just north of the Muskegon area). Makes me chuckle.

I’ve recently started reading your blog, and now I know why I like you so much! I grew up in Grand Rapids and most of my family still lives there. Listening to your Michigan accent makes me a little homesick! We had a vacation scheduled for this summer (going to Higgins Lake…heard of it?) but had to stay home in Colorado because my little guy had heart surgery. We’ll be back around Christmas, and I can’t wait! I love your blog, and look forward to getting to know you a little better! Hope you enjoyed your stay in MI! Oh, and my mom grew up in Minneapolis, so the rest of my family lives there…another place near and dear to me!
