Looking for Easy Valentine’s Day Cards?

February really has been a sweet month of sunshine, time outside sledding, skiing, and ice-skating, and making homemade pizza. In anticipation of Valentine’s Day, I will be making heart-shaped pizzas with my kiddos – you can be sure about that! :)

With the holiday here at the end of this week, I wanted to share something fun from my Etsy shop: Valentine’s Day cards designed by me (and printed by you!).

Printable Valentine’s Day cards, 16 unique designs

This download is super easy to print, and is fun for kids of all ages! As a mama to five kids, I love that each card features an encouraging message about love, kindness, and friendship. These cards are an opportunity to share with our children what it looks like to be an encouraging friend!

Simply purchase, download, and print! There are 16 different designs, and all designs include some of my hand-drawn art =)

(When printing, I recommend printing on cardstock, though regular copy paper will work just fine.)

How we celebrate Valentine’s Day as a homeschool family:

We keep Valentine’s Day simple & sweet by sharing thoughtful notes, baking something sweet, and sharing virtuous qualities about one another aloud. Love is a really special gift, and I want my kids to see what love looks like (kind words, building one another up, serving one another with gladness, and spending time together, just to name a few).

I mentioned earlier making homemade pizza. I follow this recipe, and the dough rises in about an hour. To make a heart-shaped pizza, simply form the dough into a round shape, then cut away to make the heart. (If you have more time for making your pizza dough, this sourdough recipe is fantastic! :) )

Another simple activity is to paint (watercolor or acrylic) heart-shaped drawings on cardstock and add them to your home decor: into the corners of a picture frame, tape them to a mirror, or scatter them across your dinner table.

Celebrating Hallmark holidays doesn’t have to be expensive or elaborate. In fact, when we keep the focus on those we’re celebrating with, the decorations don’t need to be over-the-top.

Curious what else is inside the Glory & Mountains shop?

Below is a sampling of the items I’ve designed and written, including my Rooted in Christ Bible study, Bible study bookmarks, Bible verse composition practice, Bible study prayer bundle, early elementary activity book, letter writing kit, and a weekly meal planner and shopping list organizer.

xx, Maggie
