I have loved watching my products change as my family has grown. What started as a hobby shortly after Zack and I were married quickly turned into a business. Three babies and three states later, here we are!
I started sewing in the fall of 2008 because I wanted a new purse, something totally different from what the stores were selling. There have been ups and downs with Gussy Sews, lots of challenges to push through, but through it all it’s been pure joy for me. Having a handmade product line has given me “a constant”, something to focus on and return to when life feels a little crazy ;)
I love to create and be in community with other women, and I’m grateful for all of you who have offered your support and encouragement. Thank you.
Like I shared above, I have loved watching my products change as my life has changed. One thing that hasn’t changed is the happy feeling I get when I reach inside my purse and see a colorful zipped pouch, or put on a necklace that effortlessly completes my outfit, or watching fabrics come together as I sew. The handmade process is so meaningful to me, it really is.
