“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.” Isaiah 9:6-7

“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” Matthew 1:23

Merry, Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

PS. I sort of can’t believe we’ve been living in Michigan for an entire year. This time last year, we surprised our extended families with our big exciting news, and a few weeks later we shared with everyone else :) That was a fun time, for sure! For the first time in years we haven’t had to fly home for Christmas, and for the first time ever we’re arriving to our parents with a tribe of three tiny people. And my gosh, they’re cute! It’s my hope we can enjoy one another while keeping Christ at the center of our visits. God has done so much, for every single one of us!
