The process of sewing a dress. [video]

A little bit ago I shared an Etsy video on the process of upholstery. Those kinds of things truly fascinate me, I love learning and seeing how something is made — especially if it revolves around sewing or crafting. I stumbled upon this video from Lil Blue Boo on the evolution of a dress and I basically have just one question…

…can I run my hands along your bolts of fabric? I mean, swoon!

Do you have a favorite process you love learning about? Have you ever sewn a dress? I haven’t, but I’d love to learn. xo

Even though I don’t know how to see (no one to teach me!), I so enjoyed this video.

@Stephanie, GIRL, who do you think taught me how to sew? YouTube and library books. XO

What a great video! I love sewing little girls’ dresses — I’m a self taught sewist, and love learning ALL things sewing related. Drafting my own patterns would be my dream lesson.

I love these kinds of videos=). And yes, I would love to run my hands over the bolts as well! I tell my husband that I’m having an affair with fabric. LOL
