I know I talk about this all the time, but it’s so true — one of my very favorite things about the Gussy Sews community is the encouragement you all bring, to me and to each other. Sometimes it comes in the form of handmade, other times it’s business chatter, and some times [perhaps my favorite form?] is daily life. Handmade is a huge part of my life, it brought me to know so many of you. Almost three years ago I left my day job because my handmade business was thriving. I love to encourage others to take the leap, too… and that’s where our Seasonal Gift Guides come into the picture.

We’re currently booking for the Summer Gift Guide. June, July and August are such fun months — family vacations, parties/baby showers, longer afternoons/evenings spent outside, weddings, barbeques, lots of sunshine — and I’m sure you can think of an event during one of those months where you’ll need a gift? ♥ That’s where our 2013 Summer Gift Guide is handy.

this really makes me wish I had risked adventure and had something to share here… my cards are still just a hobby, not enough of a shop to promote, and no startup costs for advertising… someday, though!!!

A supplement of vitamin C may be useful as it aids the conversion of cholesterol to bile acids. Milk thistle extracts in capsules or tablets may also be beneficial, as may phosphatidylcholine (PC) a purified extract from lecithin that acts as a powerful emulsifier.
