But that’s the thing: He’s there. He’s patiently waiting.
For her to put down the distraction. For her to focus on Him.

She is a friend.

So while it might be easy to look at this new #SheReadsTruth community and say “Coincidence” or “happy accident,” we know those words don’t exist in our Father’s vocabulary. Well, they do, but you get the idea.
We’ve created this website because of the outpouring of women saying “Yes! I want to be a part of this community! I want His truth to be a priority!”
We want to help facilitate that somehow.
We don’t want to draw attention to ourselves, because we are not #SheReadsTruth.

Oh, I can only hope you’ve seen them :) These last few weeks have been SO AMAZING + basically life changing for me. Kacia and I {along with Jessi + Raechel} have been praying so fervently for today’s launch.
Just 16 days ago we started the Soul Detox devo ~ I had just arrived home from Tanzania and felt like it was time to make a huge change: I needed to be reading the Bible daily. I texted Kacia and together we decided to start the Soul Detox devo. Then Jessi + Raechel said they wanted to join us, too. Then a few more said they’d read, too. Then a few more. And now… we know there are many, many more of you reading along :)

Amen!!! I am so excited to have an online community like this, I haven’t been actively posting but have been loving my Soul Detox and knowing you guys are out there reading His word too. God is working through you, this is amazing!

I signed up for a YouVersion account today and have started reading!! I think I might even blog about it!! I am excited to see what changes I make in the next 5 weeks!!!
Funny, I already had the app and an account…I just never used it… and I’ve been seriously slacking on my Bible reading lately too… GREAT timing right? I’m so glad the Lord is using you to help me out in a weak area in my life right now :)

“LOVING” this devotional!!! I’m a tad behind but better late than never!!!!!
I’m still a few days behind but I’m catching up! I love this idea and being able to share! I’ve had the app for a while but didn’t actually use it until I saw the posts/pictures but I’m loving the Soul Detox plan (look forward to it each day!) and can’t wait to see what the next will be. This is such an awesome idea that you’ve put together -love it & great job!!
