Hi friends! We’re in the process of changing the way we do things inside the Gussy studio, mainly the way we fulfill orders, so because of that I have a really exciting update for you this morning! We have a new category in the shop — really, more like a new way to shop — filled with ready to ship items.

Click on over, there are over 30 different items that are pre-sewn and will ship within 3 business days. This is amazing! The current turn around for an order is 2-3 weeks ~ but since we’re working on making most items ready to ship for 2012 {and a lot of them already are!} this totally changes things —yeow! This new process is a really exciting time for us.

Two of my assistants, Lisa & Beth, have worked so so so hard to get us to this point. They are a huge part of the shop side of Gussy Sews and I appreciate every single thing they do ♥.

So — if you’re looking for a last-minute gift, or something to put under the tree, or a stocking stuffer {tee hehe, or a little treat for yourself!} click on over to see our ready to ship section.

This section will be updated frequently, and soon nearly all of our ruffly products will be ready to ship!

xoxo

      hey girl!

i have a giant wall of a 6 foot wide x 6 foot tall shelf that houses all of our fabric + ready-to-ship products. i finally built UP instead of building AROUND the room. it’s been amazing and cost us maybe $100 {bought the shelving units from home depot}. xoxo

I just want you to know that you have inspired me to sew. My mom gave me her sewing machine about 4 years ago and I have never used it once. My husband has told me that I should learn how to use it since I have it. But I was always kind of scared. But after reading your story and seeing all your FUN and beautiful stuff I decided to give it a try. Thanks for the inspiration!!

she gave you HER sewing machine??? so, that means it’s super solid and amazing and will probably be the easiest {yet durable-est} machine to sew on??? girl, so glad you are learning :)

let me know how it goes?? xoxo

This is awesome! We have a laptop that is exactly 15x10x1…so I am not sure if it will fit in your biggest bag. Any chance you will make a little larger laptop bag anytime soon?! :)

Great post! Your blog is so inspirational and helpful for me as a new small craft business owner!
I don’t have a dog, but I do work from the home, and I’ve been noticing that I feel less overwhelmed when I take the time to leave the house and get some fresh air (and not just on my way to mail orders or shop for supplies!).
