Zack and I had such a fun day yesterday. Some times I feel like a nutso because I can easily get in a “I don’t like this // I don’t like that” funk. Our house is such a mess {why can’t the house clean itself when I’m out of town??}, and not in a good way, and spending another minute inside after a crazy busy week was not helping me to have a relaxing day. So to beat that, we tossed Bauer in the back of our Jeep and headed out to the 50th & France area. Zack is such a great shopper ~ I hope that doesn’t embarrass him. He’s a good chatter, a good hand holder, a good “YES THAT’S COOL” pal to shop with. He’s fun :]

We stopped inside Anthropologie, and even though we can hardly afford anything there, we love to visit the store and be inspired. I saw that yellow jacket hanging inside {first photo} and immediately wished it was inside my closet at home. But.. Zack’s so sweet. As we browsed and I picked up & touched different things in the store, and set them back down, Zack said to me, One day we will afford this. I appreciate how positive he is, even when it seems easier to sit and wallow in the opposite.

But, visiting Anthropologie really pushed me over the I LOVE FALL edge. Which I am happy for!! :] A few things I saw this week that have inspired me… Lisa Leonard showed off a gorgeous blue jacket on her blog, I’m loving the idea that soon it’ll be time to decorate our mantle, and Erin showed off an adorable {and easy} fall DIY on her blog.

And of course… the last photo… being with my hubby on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon always fills my heart. And that’s definitely a pretty thing to celebrate on this Sunday ♥

* * *

I’m hosting a local meet-up this afternoon, we’re going to learn how to make a Terrarium ~ I can’t wait to meet & see everyone!!!

Wishing you a happy, lovely, pretty day… xoxo.

    Gorgeous images! I love that little aqua coat – it is adorable! I know what you mean about a messy house. We just can’t ever seem to keep up with ours (although having two three year olds doesn’t help AT all :) And yay for fall! I finally got our house decorated and it helps to ignore the messes. :)

    Thanks for sharing these great photos. I’m with you. There needs to be a self cleaning house that comes with a money tree.. Hehe. Sounds like you have a great husband though, he’s supportive and loves to shop!

    Thanks for sponcoring a generous giveaway at Tatertots & Jello.

    Isn’t it great when you marry your best friend? Love my hubby! He’s also my best friend and a great shopper. He’s got such a strong sense of design and style. When we do DIY things to decorate the house he’s so hands on, which most husbands are not. It makes it so fun to come up with ideas for the house.

    And don’t stress over not being able to afford things from Anthropologie. I used to work there and, even with a considerable discount, still couldn’t afford to buy anything there. Ha! Isn’t it great that it exists though? Even just for unending inspiration? I’m an Anthro FREAK and have catalogs saved over the course of YEARS that I use for inspiration all of the time. :) So fun! Glad to hear you’re enjoying Fall. It’s always been my favorite seasonal change.
