{7 pretty things on Sunday}

…time for an extra dose of inspiration! Tomorrow’s the start of another workweek and so I’m thinking positive thoughts for another super productive week. Yesterday I did our grocery shopping which means today we’ve been able to do what we WANT instead of what we HAVE to do. Minus a little housework, of course ;]

Zack was outside with Bauer this morning when I woke up so I made us coffee & toasted some bagels and brought breakfast outside. I am going to miss this part of our weekend morning routine when the snow starts to fall. Maybe Zack will build is an igloo so we can keep at it? Hah!

So I was thinking… I know I’m the type to need little bursts of inspiration to keep me on-task, but are you that way, too? This 7 pretty things post is centered around what keeps me inspired: fun art with positive quotes, tasty dinners, a cute outfit {gotta use that Groupon to a local clothing boutique before it expires!}, and little reminders that fall is coming. So if you’re like me, make sure you too make a list of pretties that will help keep you motivated. And then stick to it! ‘Cuz life is just more fun that way :]

PS. I became a Brunette Friday evening — eeek!, photos coming soon. It was super fun to get back into my “Fall routine” with a darker hair color, but oh my gosh I’m having a hard time remembering it’s still ME in the mirror ;]

    I tottally need inspiration all the time in order for me to keep going. It’s like beeing half way through an chrochet blanket and then just letting it sit around for ever. Looking at pretty pictures of pretty blankets and beautiful house decor, get’s back my itch. can’t wait to see you as a brunette :) I can imagine you look stunning!

    I have found that thinking about, praying and actually doing what Phillipians 4:6-9 says “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

    Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” helps.

    I have found out in the last three years that there are many things I am fearful of :( but that if I ask myself if those things fall under what God says we are supposed to think about they don’t and so I try to think on what He commands. Have you read the Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis? Just curious. I will be praying that your fears go away completely!
