…is with Terrariums! The floral shop in our neighborhood has offered two Terrarium-building classes and I’ve taken them both :] So now, inside our house you’ll find a succulent/cacti-only Terrarium and a fern-only Terrarium. {I think I need to write ‘Terrarium’ just once more, hah!} These cuties are so fun to make and I love that they take care of themselves. Picking out which plants to put inside is one of my favorite parts of building a T.

The succulent/cacti Terrarium needs to be watered about every 2 weeks whereas the other only about once a month. This time around I put a little terracotta pot inside and ~ gush! It’s just the cutest. Here’s my post on how to build your own Terrarium… F U N!

Every time I walk by the Amelia’s I pretty much force myself to keep on keepin’ on. It’s the neatest place and I’m really excited to share with you in just a few weeks photos of Amelia’s — it’s such a relaxing place to be and Christina’s mix of flowers and antiques {chairs, lamps, tables, ironing boards}, terracotta pots and burlap + LOTS of soil scent freshness is the bomb diggity… Man, I just love it over there!

I would say I’m going to share photos of my two Terrariums inside our house, but I don’t want to jinx myself ;]

they are so cute! My brother built terrariums all the time when I was little…except his were always complete with creepy crawlies that got loose and somehow turned up in my bedroom…hmmmm. I definitely like yours better! Now I’m going to see if there are any terrarium classes around here!

p.s.- I finally took your advice and bought a pair of skinny jeans lol!

I’ve been wanting to build one for AGES with some of my little succulents (some grown from leaf cuttings– they’re TINY and CUTE)! I think it’d be a nice little habitat for them to get big and strong.

Your T’s are so darling. I’ve tried them before but my boys were young and believed that living creatures were necessary for a complete T. Like Kristina, I’d find those crawlies in places where they had no business–once in a jean pocket when I was washing clothes. The creepies, plants and kiddos spent the rest of the day outside while I returned to relative calm. Now might be a good time to give it another go. I’m less likely to find a live lizard in a pocket now that the boys are grown up and have wives who do the pocket checks.
