* there’s a discount code at the end!

There are moments when I feel like I never accomplish anything, then other moments when I feel like I’m accomplishing so much. Both situations have come by my way lately, except more often than not I’ve felt too “busy” to notice either one. And that bothers me. It’s a silent, slow bother… Hard to notice, yet at the same time easy to remember that it’s something I need to fix. So recently I re-arranged some things in my schedule and have made a point to get outside more often. In the mornings, Bauer and I walk the neighborhood. In the afternoons, we like to suntan in the backyard. Bauer chases butterflies {see above :] }. Then later I scratch his Kramer-like fuzzy head, I sip ice-water. Together we chill. It’s been so good ~ for both of us. It’s important to change things up {for the better!} when things start to get crazeee.

As I type this post, I can see a red wire basket half-filled with empty spools. It sits on top of Martha Stewart’s Encyclopedia of Crafts, next to a bouquet of pretty flowers – yellow and white – in a mason jar. I also see a clipboard filled with post-it notes that were overpowering my computer with color + reminders, so I moved them. To the clipboard. What do you see?

Great post! I have been trying to make an effort to change things up and get outside more often. Right now, I see a living room that needs to be cleaned and a funny little boy making play dough mustaches :)

Yay for July birthdays! My husband and I have birthdays this month, too. He’ll be 50!!! and I’ll be 48 on the 29th and 25th respectively. How in the world that happened I just don’t know. We’re still 16 and 14 like when we met at heart.

just wanted to let you know how much your bags are loved… gave one to a friend going away for college and it was the only thing she carried around with her 24/7 – student ID, key card, all those little essentials – they’re inseparable! thanks so much for such a darling product =)

It’s not a print you carry any more (I ordered it almost a year ago) – the Lovely Gus orange floral zipped pouch – sort of a coral-y orange print with a yellow ruffle. It’s been so loved that I just might get her a replacement pouch before she heads off again in the fall (and maybe a little something for me too ~ yay!) =) I might have a little trouble deciding which one, though – your stuff just keeps getting cuter!
