{summer time-inspired gift ideas}

Since the weather is warmer I find myself dreaming of an outside home office more & more {Zack, can we make that happen?!}. I seriously love being outside in the summer, and all the fun colors and scents and activities that come along with that. I’ve pulled a few items from my shop that are my favorite summertime items, along with some pictures that show how to wear/carry the item. I hope you enjoy them! xoxo

Gussy Sews & Eclectic Whatnot product combo, camera strap + make-up bag

Summer time = lots of outside picture taking. Ruffles make it sew much more fun.

I’m constantly rotating through my collection tote bags, laptop bags and a market totes. They hold so much and are incredibly lightweight to carry. Just recently we adjusted the prices, make sure you hop over to see them if you haven’t already.

I ALWAYS carry a clutch, even if it’s inside another bag. Pink is my favorite color {if you didn’t notice, hah!}, and the pretty summery colors of the above clutch make it fun to carry {and easy to find inside another bag}.

OK, so those are some of my favorite summer time-inspired products/gift ideas :] Click here to see other gals showing off their favorite Gussy Sews products.

On a related note — some times people ask, How do I know what to make and sell in my shop? and I always encourage them to pick things they love to work on, create, talk about/sell and carry. This winter will be my third year of sewing and I swear my love for sewing grows each year. Thanks for sticking around with me on this journey! I definitely couldn’t have done it without your support!!!!

PS. I have a winners picked for the Just Lovely Things giveaway. C O N G R A T S to miss Autumn and miss Amy — you both won $25 shop credit to Heather’s shop. Check your email, Autumn & Amy!

        Thank you! I am going to go look and see if they have any like them because I am in love! And I ordered a headband about a week and a half ago and can’t wait to get it and wear it this summer! :)

    Guess where my favorite place to sew in the summer is? Outside, on the deck of my parents cottage overlooking the lake. Its peaceful, I get a great breeze and get work done all at the same time. Now that Im talking about it, Im totally missing being there{sniff}
    Have a wonderful weekend Maggie!

      I bought it at Target a couple of years ago, but I’m pretty sure they still carry them. XO
