{Inspiration Workshop! — week #2, kitchens}

Filed Under: Inspiration Workshop!

Hi friends! It’s time for week #2 of the Inspiration Workshop! linky party. This weekly workshop is a great opportunity to exchange inspiration + encouragement through a photo. Everyone is invited to participate so I hope you’ll join us if you haven’t already. Last week’s prompt was HANDMADE and we had 128 people link up. You guys are amazing!!! Seriously! :]

The prompt ~

This week’s Inspiration Workshop! prompt is KITCHEN. I dream about a beautiful kitchen with LOTS of counter space {we have very little in the house we currently rent, so hello farm table for extra work space}, beautiful colors and handy gadgets. Right now I am loving red, turquoise and yellow in a kitchen.

My inspiration ~

This kitchen looks lived in and I looooove that! Having a home that isn’t too perfect is important to me. I would rather have a smaller home that is fully used/enjoyed than a larger home. So back to this dream kitchen of mine… :] Some day Zack and I hope to have a handful of kiddies running around, so a durable kitchen that doesn’t show dirt very well would be swell. And didja see the cookie jar in the corner… it’s shown with apples inside but that can easily be fixed! ;]

Now it’s your turn!

I hope you’ll join the linky party below. Scroll past the thumbnails of other participating bloggers and click the “You are next CLICK HERE TO ENTER” button and follow the prompts. Please consider clicking on the 2 thumbnails listed above yours and leave some comment love. You never know what kind of inspiration you’ll stumble upon for a future project :]

PS. if you’re on twitter, use the hashtag #inspirationworkshop to share your post with us. [xo]

    I totally gree with you-homes are meant to be lived in. I once heard the best saying. It went something like this: “a perfect home means a misspent life.” Amen to that! Love your color choices too. Right up my alley:)

    Hey Gussy! I’m not very familiar with buttons…. I copied the link under you button to put in my post and it just looked like a bunch of mumble jumble! How do you put it into a post to make it appear as a button? I use WordPress!

    Errr, sorry for the double link up. My first one cropped the picture weird, so I did it again. You can delete #65 if you’re able to do that.

    Love the little pops of red in that cozy kitchen.

    Wow do I sympathize with your desire for workspace in the kitchen. Yay for a table in mine too!

    I love accenting with red! When I was still teaching, I sprayed the front side of my desk that was beat-up beige metal that same color red, then sprayed my podium to match since it was metal, too. It took four different sprays to find the right red, then about five coats, but it was worth it.
