{What I Wore Wednesday – #7}

Filed Under: what I wore

Happy Wednesday, friends! I think I need one of those magical “time stoppers” — and quick. Where has the week gone?!?!?! Do you want one, too? I’ll get you one. *wink* Today I’m linking up with my CA friend Lindsey of The Pleated Poppy for WIWW. Here are some outfits I wore…

This outfit was worn on a major day of sewing & blogging {I love muh job}. I like to wear layers when I sew, because… ironing makes me HOT! So the sweatshop really lives up to it’s name on ironing days. Tan wrap sweater is from the Gap, blue tank is Charlotte Russe, skinny jeans & slipper boots (hehe) are from Target. Necklace, Lisa Leonard {from TCC last year, build-your-own necklace says “create”}.

Here I go, wearing plaid again! Red & Pink plaid, that is… This whole outfit from Target: red plaid dress, gray leggings, white t-shirt underneath, red slipper boots. F A N C Y :]

Random fashion facts about Gussy ;)
* I love me a cute pair of slipper boots {seriously!}
* Sleeves must almost always be 3/4 length or shorter {can’t handle a sleeve that touches my wrist}
* Thankfully I have curly hair, because I wasn’t given “hair styling skillz” at birth
* I wish I could wear lipstick, but whenever I do I just feel awkward. Lip gloss it is!

Wishing you a fabulous rest of the week!
xoxo

    I pretty much LIVE in my slipper boots… sometimes I even forget to put on “real” shoes when I leave the house!

    2 things in common: I don’t wear long sleeves either, but only because I am so tall the sleeves are never long enough so then it just looks like my shirt is too small:) I don’t wear lipstick either, makes me feel like a clown. Although I really wish I could. I need some slipper boots!!

    Ok, I might totally have to get some slipper boots! And I think the plaid is cute and feminine because it’s red and pink….so I’m not even sure it should be considered plaid. I would just consider it “cute”!!!

    I LOVE Target!! They have the cutest things!!! Those booties are so freaking adorable!!! and I have zero talent for styling my hair. Most days I just let it do it’s thing {air dry}. I LOVE your hair though!! it is so beautiful!!!
    I have a weird thing for sleeves. I like my stuff tank top style/strapless then I just put on a cardigan. Sleeves make me feel claustrophobic. #weird
    Have a wonderful day!!

    I love your blue and red pairing in that first outfit with the little red bead on your necklace tying it all together. Verra nice!
    And your red slipper boots look exactly like my pink slipper boots which I have pretty much lived in all winter. :)

    Cute outfits!! I love your natural curls! Random question: What do you use to keep your curls intact and smooth? I have curly hair too, yet mine likes to frizz.
