{Paper Source ~ a Minneapolis shop}

Once upon a time I was out and about, touring an area of Minneapolis called Uptown, when I stumbled into Paper Source. I walked inside and couldn’t find a thing I didn’t love — everything was so fun, so colorful >> definitely a great place to shop for a gift.

{If you’re ever near a Paper Source location you must head inside!}

The little displays everywhere make me happy. They remind me of a dream I have, Will I ever have my product in a store?

I should have brought a stack of ruffled pouches to add to a display. Do you think they would sell {or anyone would have noticed, hah!} ?

Paper Source also has a section just for invitation designing.

GASP.

Seriously, this is a great idea — and such a fun idea for brides, too!

Mom, I want this set for Christmas ~

Some of my favorite things to look + shop for are tea-pots, tasty teas, lotions, pretty stationary sets, stickers and throw blankets :]

There is a store in Lansing, MI {October Moon} that my mom and I love to visit when we’re together. For one of my bridal showers, my mom had given me a few items from “our store” :]

Guess what I picked out? A gorgeous green tea-pot {with strainer basket} and a pretty yellow throw for our red couch ♥

I love “things” that make me feel warm and cozy ~

And, guess what? I another dream I have is working in a F U N area designated just to packaging. Paper Source has some really fun ideas for this and I’d love to implement them in my studio one day {taps finger on desk}.

I nominate myself to head of packaging ;]

I also think I’d need a pretty white butterfly vase {below} to sit near the packaging supplies — don’t you agree?

♥

    Chris Ann took me there one time while I was in MN to visit! It’s easy to get lost there and be inspired!

    Ooooh I love stores like this! And I, too, have a dream of a little wrapping station in the corner of my craft room…with maybe just three rolls of quality paper hanging on the wall and a bunch of fun ribbons and brightly colored tissue paper ready to go for all my wrapping needs (can you tell I’ve thought about this before?).

    Happy Friday!

    Oh how I love paper!! Ever since I was little I have loved everything to do with paper. I even love the smell of it:) When my first daughter was born I started scrapbooking and now OMG, I could start my own store. It takes up half my studio. I have not had a chance to do much of it now because my shop, but once in awhile when I get the chance to touch the paper and play around with it I remember how much I miss my first love:)

    Paper Source is my happy place – I’m happy you stumbled upon it! My favorite part of the store? The back wall with every color paper and cards and envelopes in every size! *drool*

    Eeek! I actually order my envelopes from WNP (their wholesale supplier), but I have yet to actually visit a paper source shop. Thanks so much for sharing the photos- now I feel a little more in the loop. Ha!
