Ohhhh, baby!

It’s been sooo chilly here in Minneapolis — like 20* outside. And while it hasn’t snowed since last weekend, there’s still snow on the ground. It’s been so fun getting out my scarves, mittens, hats and warm jackets. I just peeked at the forecast and there are flurries in the future! Eeeeek :]

Bauer and I were out running errands yesterday, and it was so fun being bundled up. I know once it starts snowing it’s going to get a lot messier, and then Bauer will have to stay home a little more. But I did buy some really cute snow boots {wedge heel, even!}, so we can still go for walks in the slushy snow.

At our house you can find tea being brewed, mittens and hats on the front hall desk, candles being lit, blankets being used and a warm puppy being snuggled. And red nail polish sitting on the bathroom counter ;]

My Etsy “knit favorites” list was getting a little full so I thought it would be fun to share what I had bookmarked. There is some cuuuuute stuff and I’m excited to share it with you.

PS. my favorite is #6!

PSS. I know some of these items are crocheted ;]

Yes!….. and don’t forget crocheted, because some of those items are crocheted.

I prefer crocheting because it moves faster. You can complete an item in about half the time. My knit and crocheted items are here:

I learned to knit last fall because a lot of my friends did and now I am OBSESSED with knitted items. I probably buy more for myself because I love giving the ones I make as gifts.

Hmmm I think #6 is crocheted. I do crochet so I recognized the stitches.

I SERIOUSLY love the knitted/crocheted items. There’s something so wonderfully warm and comforting and just darn adorable with kids in them. I decided it would be better (ie-CHEAPER) if I made some myself….and oh my word. Like 30 hours later, alot of money spent on good quality yarn and more items with big fat knots…I’ve decided to recognize my limitations and continue supporting my extremely talented friends on etsy. It’s ok….I’m good with it. :P Thank you for highlighting so many AMAZING knit products…I needed help finding some new talented ladies!

I don’t know…Gussy…I’m loving that little “lamb”…how adorable. If I were a hat wearing type of gal…I’d go for no. 2…reminds me of Ali MacGraw in Love Story ;)

SO I guess I need to google the difference between *knit* and *crochet*.
You know me, I don’t sew…those are sewing right? Ha.

I just bought a headband/ear warmer very similar to #2 and I love it! I got one to give as a Christmas present for my bestie and I hope she loves it as well!

#3 is killing me. If I had the cash, I would buy that right up!
