Friday morning I received an email,

    Hi Gussy!

I’ve been reading your blog for about the last 6 months or so — I came in right as you were quitting your job to “do Gussy” full-time. What an exciting achievement and very encouraging for me personally!

I just wanted to shoot you a quick email to say that I saw one of your cute little clutches in the October issue of Pregnancy & Newborn magazine yesterday while I was at a doctor’s appt. I was flipping through waiting for the doctor to come in and I saw this cute bag that looked very familiar to me in the front with a little number, 24, beside it. So I flipped to page 24 and sure enough, they were promoting this little bag as a “mommy-must-have”. :] I don’t know even know you personally but I feel like I’ve gotten to know you by reading your blog (one of my fave things about being a blogaholic :] and I was just so proud when I saw that! Congratulations to you!

Yeowwwww! This editorial feature was such a fun surprise! I must admit, I’ve been blessed to have had 2 other features with Pregnancy & Newborn. But let me just say this, the excitement definitely doesn’t fade as they occur more and more. My mom and her BFF were visiting Zack and I last week, so Lindsay’s email came at the most-perfect time: I was able to share this moment with Mama Gus.

xoxo!

GUSSY! I saw it too this week when i was at my weekly appointment! I showed it to my husband and he said “Hey isn’t that like the one you have?” :-) He is a smart guy. Can’t wait to get a Gussy Girl clutch for my girl.
