Hi there, my friends! How was your weekend? I hope it was really great :] Mine went by too fast. We accomplished a lot and I’m sooooo excited to share everything with you. I tried to slow it down but it only worked for an hour or two each day… not nearly enough! {pout}

This week is going to be jam-packed and I’m afraid it’s going to go by really fast, too. I’m going to my FOURTH blog conference of the year {insert googly eyes} later this week. I have a lot of sewing to finish up before I fly out to Pennsylvania for Relevant.

I have this urge to get really organized before I leave, so in honor of that today’s post is in list format {ha ha!}

***

1 —

Saturday was a huge day for my Gussy ruffles: I was a guest on myTalk, a local radio station to the Twin Cities area {click here to listen to the interview, it takes about 2 minutes to load}. I had never done a interview, but it was fun :]

2 —

We adopted a puppy, Bauer, over the weekend. LOOK at how sweet he is?! ♥

He is the best puppy ever. He loves to sit in my lap and sleep. We took him for a L O N G walk Sunday and Bauer was so tired that he laid down when we stopped at the cross walks. So I carried him :]

3 —

There was an impromptu Gussy giveaway over the weekend. Yay! I decided to giveaway a ruffled headband. Want to know who won?? >> Ms. Amy Anderson {I’ve emailed you :] }

4 —

Want to help out St. Jude AND enter to win $40 Gussy shop credit? I guest blogged over at Life.Rearranged — click over and send some love?

    We loaded babies into strollers, walked to the local Oktoberfest and enjoy the company of friends and their babies, then I did all my house chores and even made our dinner for tonight. Bauer is adorable!

    The most fun thing I did? Well, I changed my blog design but other than that I did NOTHING. And it was quite fun. ;)

    I watched my 4.5 year old enjoy the fall weather with his friends on his first camping trip. I didn’t get to sleep in the tent overnight b/c my Maggie was sick and it was 38 degrees at night, BUT I spent the entire day at the campground with many, many friends. He was just the cutest little thing playing in the leaves and just enjoying the outdoors. :)

    Is it possible that my best/most fun was also the worst? My husband left this weekend (worst) but have no fear because it was only to go sign all of the documentation to adopt our baby boy in Ethiopia!!! I can hardly stand waiting the 8 days til he returns!!!

    What a wonderful weekend! Congratulations!

    My favorite part of the weekend was jumping back in to soccer season for Sweet Baby J and Nate the Great!

    Wow! You’ve had quite a busy few days.

    Being organized before you leave for a trip can make it so much more fun. I hope you enjoy your conference!
