{my favorite things, part 2}

yay for favorite things :]

this post is part 2 {here is part 1}.

i decided to celebrate the countdown to my birthday on Monday with a mini-series today on my favorite things. we all have special things we hold dear to our heart, or things that we always come back to — things that seem so natural to love and things we love to look at.

i’ve always been a girl in love with purses and zipped pouches and little prizes to keep in said purse or zipped pouch. i remember as a young girl switching purses only to find my favorite {!!!} lip gloss inside, or $5, or…

there was always a little prize inside and i loved that. and because i had so many purses to trade out every week they hardly had any wear. by the time i rotated through my collection i had a brand new {-ish} purse again :]

favorite item #3:

this zipped pouch is my most favorite pouch in the shop. i love the shades of purple, the gray, and of course the golden yellow ruffle. it’s the perfect size, too {roughly 8″x4″}.

favorite item #4:

paul frank is one of my favorite characters! and recently i was browsing the aisles of Target when i saw paul frank also has lip gloss. ahhhh! i died right there in aisle A21! i mastered the skill of chapstick application during my toddler years. right, mom? at any given time i was using all 10 of my bonnie bell lip smacker fun pack. oh how i looooove chapstick.

favorite item #5:

Gussy loves her pink nail polish!!! or any nail polish, really. i always painted my nails in my bedroom while sitting on the floor, and most of the time the door was shut because i had my radio on, so my dad would get upset with me. whoopsy! i remember my nightstand housed my nail polish collection. i had one of those nightstands with the drawer that sat on rollers. i can hear them rolling now…
