I’ll make a trip shortly :)
Me too! I’ll make a trip too! Just give me about 12 hours notice and I’ll be there. Love coffee and LOVE YOU!
I already told you – but I am super jealous of your fun night! Mmm cupcakes. :)
Count me in!
i’m in! coffee and sweets!
Your story reminds me a lot of my hubby and me (except the whole sewing genius thing). I’m from Ohio and we left our family and moved out to the Sioux Falls area….just the two of us. Even though it’s hard, it’s wonderful that your husband is your best friend. We recently moved back to Pennsylvania where I have yet to make any good friendships…happy that you are meeting new people in the Minneapolis area!
oh how i wish i was in the area! you gals look like so much fun. and how can one go wrong with cupcakes? yum.
{and on a stalker-ish note? you have the prettiest eyelashes. i know, random. but it’s true!}
So jealous. I want to come! But I live too far. :(
You are a MN girl?!?! Awesome! I found out about you through Beth Anne’s blog and holy cripes do I love your stuff! I had no clue you were local (to me at least!). And congrats on going full time with Gussy :)
yes…would love to do a mn meetup!
I lived in MPLS for five years and miss it SO SO much. I’m trying to convince the fiance to move back :) I’ll be there all next week if there’s any get together then!!
well aren’t you two just adorable?!
can i have one of those cupcakes? thanks. i’ll be right over.
AH! I am so jealous!! 1. of the cupcakes 2. of not being close enough to participate in a friend meet-up!
BUT!!! I love all the new friendsy’s that I have met because of blogging!!!!
smiles,
gina
I WISH I was in the Minneapolis area so I could get together with you! Sadly, I am not. But I do have a standing first-Friday-of-the-month lunch date with my classmates from a leadership class I participated in a couple of years ago. And another first-Wednesday-of-the-month breakfast date with some businessy colleagues. The best one, though, is my monthly get together with my sister and my cousins. We’re definitely schedule people!
ohhh, Lisa, that is so fun! i love when i have things on the calendar to look forward to :]
I am no super-blogger like many of these ladies…but I do live in Saint Paul and would love to meet some new people! I hope you are enjoying the cities. I move here in 2006 from NC, and love it here. Where did you get cupcakes? Those look great. Have you been to Sweets on Marshall? Amazing stuff!!
aw i would totally be in if i lived closer!! how fun!
count me in my friend! see you on monday too…can’t wait!
Can I just say that I love that you each got 2 cupcakes. I personally think one just isn’t enough, but most aren’t brave enough to go for it! They look so yummy!
you aren’t supposed to notice that!!!! ;]
Uhm, we brought the other ones home to our husbands. Yep. That’s what we each did with our second cupcakes. That’s the story I’m sticking to.
I’ll be in the Twin Cities area this summer. Hubs has a conference there for work, so I get to find things to do during the day. Maybe I’ll try to look you up!
wow, there are TONS of minneapolis bloggers, aren’t there???
well, i’ve certainly met a few new blog friends, but none in real life yet. hopefully soon! i might be in the twin cities area at some point (no idea when) for a conference, so I will letyou know.
anyone in the NW INdiana or chicagoland area??
is florida close to minneapolis?
;)
not fair.
so i looked at that picture and thought- i recognize allison! clicked on her blog and it’s true- we definitely went to college together! what a fun connection!
congrats on going full time with gussy!
I’m a regular reader and just love your shop. oh yeah, and minneapolis is kind of like my 2nd hometown. sorta. well, my mom’s from there. I’ll be there the last week of june for a family trip! each summer we drive up to Brainerd – do you know where that is?! – and spend a few days at Madden’s!
p.s. where are the cupcakes from?? maybe I’ll check it out sometime when I’m there!
hi Gussy!
I’m a St. Paul mama who is finishing out her last few days as a teacher and setting out on a business venture refurbishing furniture. (Think “Life in the Fun Lane”, do you know that blog?) I’d love to meet up with you guys and get any tips/ideas/good juju from any other adventurous TC girls. Count me in!
PS I’ll link to my blog about the kids, but my business site is almost ready to launch. *argh* biting fingernails over here!!
Squeeeee! “Yeow!” right back atcha, girlie.
I’m a Minnesota gal too! Keep me in the loop because I’d love to meet up with other mn bloggers and meet some new friends.
In order to feed creativity, one requires cupcakes. It’s the law.
Put me down for two, and I’ll be there in spirit. (The second cupcake will, of course, be for my husband…) ;0)
Have fun all of you!

Hi! I’m so surprised to see the number of fun and talented ladies who share the same excitement about a lot of the same things; and all in the Minneapolis area. Wow!!
I’d love to connect too!
Please let me know when, and where. What a great opportunity to grow and share!
Forgot to mention how fabulous it is that you decided to branch out on your own! Congratulations!
Hi excellent blog! Does rninnug a blog similar to this require a large amount of work? I have very little expertise in coding however I was hoping to start my own blog soon. Anyways, if you have any recommendations or techniques for new blog owners please share. I know this is off subject but I simply needed to ask. Kudos!
