You know what is ridiculous?

A lot of people call us Mack & Zaggie.

Instead of Zack & Maggie.

Why?

I have no clue. But it happens so often and so accidental that I just know it’s accidental. Because it happens accidentally. So often. Oh, my word.

Last weekend Zack and I were out for the day. The sun was shining and it was just beautiful here in Minneapolis. The sunlight {and this photo app} made my hair look super red.

Mom, it’s really not this red. Promise :]

I could tell Mack, I mean Zack, was ready to get back home because he started playing with my headband. Hah! He cracks me up. He’s definitely my fun better half :]

xo, Z!

——————

PS. A few nights ago Zack said, LOOK AT ME! I have a mohawk!!!

Yes, dear. Yes, you do. I shaved it for you and so I gave you that mohawk. In fact, I look at it 100x more often than you do.

OK, so that is what I said quietly to myself.

Really I said, I know and it rocks! ;)

{Yes, I winked at him.}

See?

Being married is fun :]

Heehee! You guys are too funny. ;)

One of the boys at church started calling H. and I "Haydelyn" – not my preferred nickname, but I guess it works. :D

That happens to us all the time, too!!! Our names are Sean and Jennifer, but everyone shortens mine to Jen and then we get Shen and Jon. It's amusing, but odd, seeing how often it happens! And now it is worse because my sister's boyfriend is actually NAMED John! With her name being Sarah, the S's and J's are just confusing the daylights out of everyone!

Ha! Mark and I have laughed a lot about a few couples whose initials we accidentally switch. (Our closest friends are Mac and Zandy – you know, Zac and Mandy!) We also have friends who are Jenni and Judah, but we used to accidentally call them Judy and Jenna!

I think some names are just easy to mix up. I once referred to a couple named Huck and Darla as Duck and Harla. Then proceeded to crack up for about five minutes straight – it's still gives me the giggles when I think about it.

We also have an elderly gentleman who ushers at our church. He repeated calls me by my husband's name. I think he sees me, can't remember my name, but think's "Eric's wife" and then says, "Hello, Eric." It makes me smile every time!

I'm draya and my hubby is jake. Everyone we know calls us Drake. We get cards addressed to Drake, emails to Drake. I never knew that when you get married you really do become one!
I think you two should go by Zaggie!

This is too cute! Our friends have called us Mosh and Jelissa for years. What’s funny us that a lot of them call me Jelissa but don’t regularly call my husband Mosh. When we’re in public they get weird looks. I like Jelissa though. Haha!

This popped up on the similar posts today. Funny thing, other than my hubs being Zac too, I have twin cousins named Zack & Hannah. My mom accidentally called out “Hack & Zannah are here,” when we were kids, and it stuck. It honestly feels weird to say it correctly!
