Last night I did something particularly interesting. Actually, the night before I did something particularly interesting as well. Are you interested in knowing? hah!

Sunday night I shaved Zack’s head. He wanted it… I couldn’t quite say no. Then he decided he wanted a little mohawk. Again, I couldn’t say no.

MY HUSBAND HAS A MOHAWK! <3 Then, Monday night I met up with a friend. A new friend. A friend that lives in Minnesota. You see, when Zack and I moved here we knew 3 adults and 2 children. Hoo-rah. Now we know maybe 20 adults, but still just 2 children :)

{Oh my word. And tonight I’m meeting with another new friend, M. Yeow!}

It is so unlike me to come home from my day job and do something different from cooking dinner, sewing, blogging, watching some TV, and then crashing around midnight.

Guess what?

It was amazing.

My friend H. sells jewelry. I sell Gussys. We had a great time talking biz. Oh yes, we talked biz-ness. Fun biz talk, like the possibility of Gussy at Minnesota craft shows this summer. I’m excited to do some research.

As I talked with H. last night about how Gussy started, and how I haven’t really stopped to fully comprehend what or where Gussy is, I realized I don’t take enough time for me. So going out was a really, really nice treat :)

OK, I must go now…
But not before I show a little eye candy:

I have some super mega fun blog sponsors. I heart them lots and really enjoy having their button on my blog! I mean, just look what what they have to offer…

  • The Vintage Pearl — beautiful jewelry! Zack bought me a Circle of Love bracelet for Christmas and I loooove it :)

  • Just Simply Southern — Kristi makes some rawkin’ distressed photo frames {customizable, too}!

  • Paint Me a Picture — sweet Lindsay Girl and her paint brush :) Recently she made me a custom Gussy painting {see below}

  • Spunk & Sass Designs — friends Valerie and Bailey run this jewelry business! I have a piece of their jewelry, too!

  • Spire Design Group — home decorating advice at it’s finest! :) Meredith offers many {online} design packages. Or if you live nearby she’ll come over and Gussy-up your house ;)

  • Pretties Things by Meg — vintage meets modern baubles {jewelry}. Seriously. Meg’s stuff is soooo cute. I heart her necklaces.

  • Curly Birdie — adorable crocheted Mary Jane’s for babes. AHHHH-dorable…

  • Jecka — home of the ear flap headband! Makes me love the Minneapolis winter

  • Fern & Flora Designs — floral headbands that I want to just snatch-up for myself! Is that OK to admit…?

Would you like to become a blog sponsor? Send me an email… we’ll chat :)

PS. Don’t forget to enter Maria’s Mary Jane baby bootie giveaway (closes Wednesday at 10 pm), and Gussy’s $25 shop credit giveaway
