{this post could get me in trouble…}

Today is June 3rd. And while it’s just jaw-dropping crazy how we are already three days into the month what isn’t crazy is how much time I’ve spent dreaming over cute summer clothes. I mean, c’mon, what else am I supposed to do alllll dayyyyy longgggg?

{Besides sew?}

And, my dream is over!

Well, it is once this post is complete ;)

I have a little saying that goes like this, Clothes that cost a nice low price are just that much comfier. Comphier? Comfy-ier? Whatever. The point is I just made that phrase up. No. The point is that you don’t have to spend lots of bills to have cute clothes. At least I don’t. Mainly because I could never force myself to do it, but also because it’s a lot easier to get what you want when it costs an average price.

Did I just write that? I sound like a child.

Oh, Gus…

I remember one Easter I gave my mom a list from an Avon catalogue with all my dream Easter Bunny gifts circled. What I didn’t realize at the time, and please note I was probably 1o years old, was that it was the eve before the big day and there was no way on God’s green Earth I would get ANY of those circled items. Mom, do you remember that?

I do, because I felt like an idiot once I remembered that Easter a few years later…

Gosh, I’m so getting off track.

THE REASON FOR THIS POST IS TO SHARE SOME CUTE THINGS I LOVE BECAUSE WE ARE CELEBRATING OUR ANNIVERSARY THIS WEEKEND ON THE LAKE. And because I’m very excited for summer + carrying around negative 3.25 inches.

There. I said it. I officially have a point to this blog post. Ahhhhhh… that was difficult to get to, yes?

With all that said, let Gus begin with some pictures and links.
